USER OPINION

Our take on this /// Verdict
The TVS Phoenix 125 Alpine White Edition, although discontinued, was a strong contender in the 125cc segment, particularly for commuters seeking a balance of fuel efficiency, decent pickup, and affordability. Its 124.53cc single-cylinder engine, producing 10.8 BHP and 10.8 Nm of torque, made it a reliable choice for daily commutes. The bikes lightweight design, weighing just 116 kg, enhanced its power-to-weight ratio, making it agile and easy to handle. However, the four-speed gearbox was a notable drawback, especially for those who frequently ride on highways. The bikes comfort, thanks to its telescopic forks and dual series spring rear suspension, was commendable, and the inclusion of features like hazard lamps and a fully digital instrument cluster added to its appeal. Despite some minor issues like hard gear shifting and questionable build quality, the Phoenix 125 Alpine White Edition remained a good option for those prioritizing practicality and value for money.
Price
The TVS Phoenix 125 Alpine White Edition was priced at Rs 53,600 ex-showroom before it was discontinued. When considering the on-road price, one would typically add around 10-15 to the ex-showroom price to account for registration, insurance, and other costs, which would bring the total to approximately Rs 59,000 to Rs 61,400. This pricing positioned the Phoenix 125 as a competitive offering in its segment, especially given its feature-packed nature and the quality of its components. However, since the bike is no longer available in the market, potential buyers would need to look at other models or consider purchasing a used Phoenix 125.

Hi, I am Suresh Nagpal from Chennai. I bought TVS Phoenix three year back and is happy with its performance. It is a strong contender in the 125 cc segment. It is best suited for normal commuters who want excellent fuel efficiency combined with decent pickup and mileage. The brakes are very sharp and headlights are also very bright and you cannot face troubles during night. The looks and design is satisfactory not so much impressive. Shifting gears is very hard which sometimes create problem while driving fast. But overall it is a good bike which is budget friendly and is best fro daily commuters.
