Tork Motors is a Pune-based start-up which has introduced first commercial Eco-friendly motorcycle Tork T6X after 7 years of consistent hard work and research. Founded by Kapil Shelke, and funded by Ankit Bhati and Bhavesh Agarwal of Ola Cabs, the company has got its manufacturing unit at Chakan near Pune which has got installed capacity of 50,000 units/year. They have launched their new T6X with an aim to sell 10,000 units within the first year of its launch in India.

Tork T6X has been developed keeping in mind the features and demand of a smart modern urban commuter. Initially, it will make it to three Indian cities- Delhi, Pune and Bengaluru and three colors. For now, it has been introduced at a promotional price of INR 1,24,999 (ex-showroom) and can even be per-booked.

Tork T6X is the fifth prototype of the company and the company plans to launch multiple electric motorcycles from stylish urban commuters to race-winning machines which includes bikes in the lineup: Tork TX0 01, TX0 02, TX0 03, TX0 04 and TX0 05. The company plans to launch around 100 charging stations in Delhi, Pune and Bengaluru initially and will subsequently spread to Hyderabad and Mumbai.

What's special?

Tork T6X is powered by lithium ion batteries and can hit a top speed of 100 kmph. What's more amazing is that this electric bike need a single charge for covering 100 km distance. And you just need an hour for charging it up to 80 percent and two hours for the full charge. The battery life is around 80,000 - 1,00,000 kms depending on the usage. The battery is IP67 certified water and dust resistant. The bike has got 4.3" touchscreen with navigation.

According to a statement by Mr Kapil Shelke, the T6X is based on signature TIROS intelligence system of the company. With this the rider can easily switch between customizable ride modes adjusting power delivery. Also, with a touch of a button, the motorcycle can be tuned anywhere from sporty maverick to comfortable eco-cruiser.

Dimensions and Weight

The overall length, width and height of Tork T6X comes out to be 1960, 784, 1085 (all values in mm) respectively. The seat of the bike is placed at a height of 785 mm and it offers a ground clearance of 160 mm. The wheelbase of the bike is 1336 mm and the kerb weight comes out to be 130 kg. The bike runs on 17-inch tubeless tyres.

Design

What would fascinate you about Tork T6X is that it is painted in black and white shades along with its bold and aggressive styling. It also features daytime running light to add to its beauty. The Tork T6X is loaded with ample features which includes decent storage space, fully digital touch TFT, mobile charging, anti-theft, mobile app support, quick charge, Geo fencing, and on-board navigation and GPS.

Motor and Top Speed

Tork T6X is powered by the brush-less DC 6kW (peak motor) along with lithium ion battery. The torque generated comes out to be around 27 Nm and the bike can stretch it to 100 kms at a single charge. The top speed for the bike has been found to be 100 kmph.

Brakes and Suspension

The bike has got regenerative braking system with front disc brakes of 267 mm and rear disc brakes of 220 mm. The suspension duties are performed by telescopic forks at the front and spring loaded hydraulic suspension at the rear.

You would be amazed to know that T6X is equipped with features which are found in premium bikes such as on board navigation, storage, cloud connectivity, quick charge, full digital display, and superior acceleration. You can connect your android or iOS mobile device through Tork's app which lets you know about the battery status, give you service alerts and customized riding profiles.

Safety Features

The bike comes with ABS as part of the braking system which enhances its safety. Along with this , it also has got advanced battery management system, Geo fencing, daytime running lamps and anti-theft as well.

I want to share a few words about this TORK T6X ELECTRIC MOTORCYCLE. All the other company bikes will get closed to their profit bags. this is the boon of riding in this era. no gear means money saving. time and money saving while charging. It will make a new revolution theory. And also generate it to a new green world. I will buy it as soon as possible. I'm very happy to say you. it is recreating me. i love this lovable marvelous fantastic two wheeler car. there is no words to say after this.

Best Features: The top most bike and top required bike in this era.

Pros: Mileage, speed and no gear .....wow.....

Cons: I don't know the customer service. price is also just a huge one. but not more than to comparing royal enfield and others etc.
