As per a recent report, Royal Enfield is working on an entry-level 250cc cruiser for the Indian market. Expected to be known as Classic 250, the motorcycle would be competing with the likes of Bajaj Avenger 220. The upcoming cruiser is expected to generate a maximum power of 14 HP with a maximum torque figure of 18 NM. The engine would be mated to a 5-speed gearbox.
