Ex Showroom Price vs On Road Price | Ex-Showroom Price is the Manufacturing Cost of the vehicle + Dealer/Seller Profit + GST (Goods and Service Tax) + Transportation Charges (from the manufacturing plant to the dealership). On the other hand, the On Road Price is the actual cost you pay to the dealership to make the vehicle legal to run on the roads. It includes Ex-Showroom Price in your city + RTO Charges (Vehicle Registration) + One Time Road Tax + Insurance Charges + 1% TDS. The On-Road Price also includes some optional things like if you opt for Genuine Accessories and Extended Warranty while buying a vehicle. Please note that the On-Road Price varies a lot across different states in India due to different percentage for the State Registration Charges. |

FAQs
-
But why does the KTM 250 Adventure lack low-end torque?
13 January 2025 07:11For someone who rides in heavy city traffic, not having low-end grunt is very frustrating. It’s never one gear; I’m always changing gears just to keep up with the flow. I might look into changing the sprocket to help with this.
-
Can the KTM 250 Adventure go touring?
13 January 2025 07:11Not great for touring but okay. With the small tank, you’re stopping to refuel more often, and with the lack of power, you’re getting frustrated when you’re trying to pass on the highway. A fine thing for weekend trips, but I wouldn't want to cross the country on it.
-
Is the KTM 250 Adventure worth the price premium?
13 January 2025 07:11At first I was skeptical about the price, but after having it for a year I am convinced. The cost alone is justified by the versatility—it’s like having multiple bikes in one. And the service intervals are longer than most competitors, saving you money in the long run.
-
Is the KTM 250 Adventure worth the price premium?
13 January 2025 07:11I had no problem paying the premium for the desktop for just the comfort and ergonomics. Since I am a tall rider, it is very important that the bike fits well, and the 250 Adventure does just that. This extra cost means all-day comfort, something so valuable on long rides.
-
Is the KTM 250 Adventure a worthy hype for city riding?
13 January 2025 07:11It's a mixed bag. The 250 Adventure is a blast on the weekends when you want to get out of the city, but it’s a bit much for daily commutes. However, they have a godsend when it comes to ground clearance, as those nasty speed bumps we have everywhere will never seem as bad as they used to.
-
As a tall beginner rider, how does the KTM 250 Adventure compare to the Duke 250?
13 January 2025 07:11That really depends on the type of riding you want to do. If you are sticking to city streets and the occasional highway run, the Duke is perfect. If you are a tall rider, however, the Adventure is a better choice if you are planning to do any light off-roading or long tours.
-
My main travelling is daily city commutes and some weekend tours. I am confused between KTM 250 Adventure and KTM Duke 250. Which is better?
15 January 2023 03:41When it comes to selecting the right bike, it is important to consider your budget, preferred segment, features required, and engine options. The KTM 250 Adventure is powered by a 248.76 cc engine that provides a powerful 30 PS @ 9000 rpm and a torque of 24 Nm @ 7500 rpm. This engine makes the 250 Adventure one of the smoothest KTM single-cylinder engines on sale. The 19-/17-inch wheel setup provides superior confidence when going over rough roads.
On the other hand, the KTM 250 Duke is perfect for those who are looking for something quick and convenient for everyday use. This bike has a much more relaxed motor and comfy suspension compared to other KTMs. It is powered by a 248.8 cc engine that generates a power of 30 PS @ 9000 rpm and a torque of 24 Nm @ 7500 rpm. We highly recommend you to take a test drive before making the final decision.
