For the 2024 model year, Kawasaki made minor updates to the Z650 and Z900, including new graphics and color options. The bikes also received some tweaks to their suspension and braking systems. I believe these updates kept the bikes competitive in the market without altering their core characteristics.

In 2022, Kawasaki celebrated the 50th anniversary of the Z series with special edition models, including the Z650 and Z900. These bikes featured unique graphics and color schemes to commemorate the milestone. I think this was a great way to honor the legacy of the Z series.

For the 2020 model year, Kawasaki updated the Z650 with new color schemes and minor cosmetic changes. The bike retained its 649cc parallel-twin engine and remained a popular choice in the mid-size naked bike category. I believe the new colors gave the bike a fresh look without altering its core appeal.

At the 2017 Tokyo Motor Show, Kawasaki unveiled the Z900RS ABS, a retro-styled version of the Z900. This bike combined classic design elements with modern technology, including ABS and traction control. The Z900RS was well-received for its nostalgic look and modern features. I think this bike is a perfect blend of old-school charm and new-age tech.

Seating comfort is compromised on long rides, Needs improvement. Power is sufficient but a minor change in sprockets will improve the performance drastically.
