About
The Hyosung GT125N is a sporty 125cc motorcycle that stands out with its unique V-twin engine, a rarity in this displacement category. Powered by an oil-cooled, DOHC 8-valve 75 V-twin motor, it produces 14.2 PS at 10,500 rpm and 10.20 Nm of torque at 9,750 rpm. The bike features a 5-speed gearbox, front and rear disc brakes, and alloy wheels wrapped in fat rubber. It also comes with a full fairing and a 17-liter fuel tank, making it look and feel like a larger capacity bike. The suspension setup includes telescopic USD front suspension and a mono rear suspension, which enhances its handling capabilities. With a seat height of 830mm and a weight of 166 kg, it is positioned as a sporty option rather than a commuter bike, competing with the likes of the Yamaha YZF-R15 and Honda CBR 150R in terms of performance and styling.

Our take on this /// Verdict
The Hyosung GT125N is a unique offering in the Indian motorcycle market, particularly for those who are looking for a sporty yet efficient 125cc bike. What sets it apart is its oil-cooled, DOHC 8-valve 75 V-twin engine, which delivers a respectable 14.2 PS at 10,500 rpm. This engine configuration makes it one of the most powerful 125cc bikes available, and its handling is commendable thanks to the telescopic USD front suspension and mono rear suspension. However, its weight of 166 kg might be a concern for some riders, especially in urban traffic. Overall, its a great option for enthusiasts who want a blend of performance and style, but it may not be the best choice for commuters looking for a lightweight, fuel-efficient bike.
Price
The pricing of the Hyosung GT125N in India is a critical factor that could influence buying decisions. Although the exact ex-showroom and on-road prices are not explicitly mentioned in recent sources, historical data suggests that Hyosung bikes tend to be on the higher side compared to other 125cc offerings. If it were to be priced similarly to its previous iterations or other Hyosung models, we could expect an ex-showroom price in the range of 1.5 to 2 lakhs. On-road prices would likely be higher, potentially ranging from 1.8 to 2.5 lakhs, depending on the state and local taxes. This pricing makes it a premium option in the 125cc segment, which might limit its appeal to budget-conscious buyers.
Mileage
Tuesday, 19 November 2024 07:30 PM
When it comes to mileage, the Hyosung GT125N is claimed to offer around 50 kmpl, which is respectable for a bike with its performance credentials. However, real-world mileage can vary based on riding conditions and style. For users concerned about running costs, this bike strikes a balance between performance and efficiency, making it a viable option for those who need a mix of power and fuel economy.
