Our take on this /// Verdict
The Honda Dream Yuga CBS is a solid choice for those looking for a reliable and fuel-efficient commuter bike in India. With its 109.19cc air-cooled engine and Honda Eco Technology (HET), this bike offers a commendable mileage and smooth riding experience. The bikes design, though not overly stylish, is practical and comfortable, making it suitable for daily commuting. The telescopic forks at the front and five-step adjustable hydraulic shock absorbers at the rear provide a comfortable ride, although the rear suspension could be improved. I have been riding this bike for 3 years and it gives good mileage. The bikes looks similar to its sibling Honda Shine. It is amazing bike with good features in the commuter segment of motorcycles. Based on HET, Technology it offers great efficiency, comfortable in riding and handling. Even it is easy on pocket as far as maintenance is concerned.

I purchased Honda Dream Yuga 2 years back(not HET). I am not a technical person or comment technically. But definitely before buying bike I was very clear about my own requirements: 1. Lightweight 2. My driving speed is less than 50 KMPH (even in city areas it is not possible to cross 50 KMPH speed for more than 1 min) so for me 100 CC bike is more than enough. 3. I mostly drive alone without taking anybody on back seat. 4. A fair average of approx 60 KM per ltr 5. Trusted quality brand. (some lower price brands vehicle start rusting and making noses after 2 monsoons seasons). If I try to drive fast (more than 50 KMPH) or take someone on back seat or carry heavy loads then definitely 100cc engine starts making noises. There is no point for giving negative marks for this because you cant expect 100cc to carry more loads, if your requirement is to drive fast or carry load then you can go for min 125cc engine bike. My mileage is approx 64 KM per ltr., If I drive with 35-45 speed, alone and with minimum use of 1-3 gears e.g. driving on less crowded areas / main roads. Speed, weight and use of 1-3 gears are not maintained then mileage will not be as per your expectation. Finally I am not a Honda representative but cant expect a Rs. 60,000/- ( 100 CC) bike to perform like 150 CC powerful engine bike. If you want to go for lower price bike then please refer my above 5th No. point. Dream yuga meet all my expectations so 5 stars. (sunilo1970@yahoo.co.in)
