USER OPINION

Our take on this /// Verdict
The Honda CBF Stunner PGM-Fi is a compelling package that blends style, performance, and fuel efficiency, making it a strong contender in the 125cc segment in India. While it may not offer groundbreaking performance gains over its carbureted sibling, the fuel-injected version brings a smoother engine experience and improved fuel efficiency. The bikes build quality and paint finish are top-notch, and its handling is confident and stable, especially when cornering. However, the price point is a bit steep compared to other bikes in its category, which might deter some buyers. Overall, its a great choice for those seeking a reliable, stylish, and efficient ride, but it may not be the best value for money.
Price
When the Honda CBF Stunner PGM-Fi was launched, it was priced at a premium compared to other 125cc bikes in India. The ex-showroom price was around 63,000 to 65,000, depending on the region. On-road prices, including taxes, registration, and other costs, would have been closer to 75,000 to 80,000. This pricing positioned the Stunner PGM-Fi as one of the costlier options in its segment, which could be a deterrent for budget-conscious buyers. However, the additional features such as fuel injection, tubeless tyres, and a tachometer might justify the extra cost for those valuing these upgrades.
Mileage
Tuesday, 19 November 2024 06:40 PM The Honda CBF Stunner PGM-Fi offers impressive fuel efficiency, which is a significant factor for many Indian buyers. With the fuel-injected engine, you can expect a mileage of around 65-70 kmpl in city riding conditions and over 70 kmpl on highways. This improvement in fuel efficiency compared to the carbureted version makes the PGM-Fi a more economical choice in the long run, helping to offset the higher initial cost.

Honda CBF Stunner PGM-Fi Review

27 Dec, 2021 10:28 AM

Quick Review by Maxabout Team

The premium 125cc segment has recently seen new additions like Bajaj XCD, Gladiator SS and RS and TVS Flame. Manufacturers are increasingly turning to the (so called premium) 125cc segment for profit. With a strategic move by Honda (HMSI) to augment the 12% market share it holds in this segment, the company is like to introduce an all new motorcycle in125cc segment in addition of its existing 125cc Shine.

The CBF Stunner was the Honda’s attempt to attract young customers who love performance and style. In a similar bid, Bajaj had earlier announced it would launch sporty version of XCD 125cc. Honda India has succeeded well with the Stunner CBF. Honda showcased the CBF stunner concept at the Auto Expo and since then the enthusiasm of bike lovers have raised anticipating its launch. Now, Honda Bikes India has come up with the Fi variant of CBF Stunner.

The new Stunner Fi pumps out 11.6 Bhp of maximum power and 11.2 Nm of maximum torque which is almost same in comparison to the non-fi version. Honda CBF Stunner Fi has been priced at Rs. 68825 (ex-showroom, Mumbai). In terms of looks the only difference between CBF Stunner CBF Stunner Fi is that the Fi version is inspired from the CBR range with minimal graphics and comes in dual shade. The Stunner CBF Sticker has been shifted to the fuel tank shrouds.

Honda CBF models are a series of sport oriented motorcycles with traditional styling. The series includes CBF250, CBF500, CBF600N, CBF600S and CBF1000. The New CBF Stunner PGM-FI requires less maintenance because of its viscous air filter and maintenance-free battery. It has CBR1000RR inspired dual tone styling and a sporty half-chain case. Among the other attractive features of CBF Stunner PGM-FI include: Bank Angle Sensor, Premium 3-D Emblem, Handle Weight and the premium key.

Another strong point of CBF Stunner Fi is the manner in which it addresses the environmental issue. Though all the Honda products adhere strictly to the emission norms, the PGM-FI technology in CBF Stunner PGM-FI has enabled to bring down the emission levels to one-tenth of the existing emission norms in India. The instrument cluster is off-set from the handlebars and nicely placed in a separated compartment. The new scoops on both the side of the tank extends all the way to end just before the turn indicators and it comes with a stepped seat.

For the first time in 125cc segment a bike comes with tubeless tyres at the front and the rear. It comes with 80/100 tubeless tyre at the front and 90/100 wider tubeless tyre at the rear. The 17" alloy at the front and rear adds sporty character to the bike. CBF Stunner fi comes with first of its kind feature in the 125cc segment - integrated front cowl, sporty split seats, wider tubeless tyre at the front and the rear for all variants and a sporty foot step holder.

The two panel rear sharp cowl is not that much sharp and noticeable to an extent. The rider's position is sporty and you can judge from the foot step holders. Headlight looks something as we have seen already, well not much refreshing yet good looking. Honda has also raised the suspension and rearranged the foot pegs to make the CBF stunner Fi sporty. The exhaust mouth of the new CBF stunner Fi also gets a new styling. Complementing the new clothing is the contemporary all black theme of the CBF stunner Fi.

Is the Citroen C3 suitable for city driving?

Yes, the Citroen C3 is designed with city driving in mind making it an ideal choice for navigating urban environments. It is easy to maneuver through city streets, small parking spaces, and clogged traffic thanks to its small size and agile handling. The automobile is more suited for city driving when its agility is paired with features like a quick steering system. Additionally, the Citroen C3 often comes with a comfortable interior making daily city driving a more enjoyable experience. How is the drive quality of Citroen C3?
09 January 2024 08:17

The C3 soaks up rough roads, potholes, and broken patches in a manner that would make a multiple-time WRC-winning company proud. Which Citroen is! The C3 makes bumps disappear and it doesn’t bob or bounce. The tall sidewalls for the tyres give it added cushioning that lets the C3 just glide over broken roads. It’s absolutely wow on this front! Citroen says that the C3 is meant to be fun to drive too. As it turns out, despite its comfort factor, the C3 isn’t soft and sloppy at high speeds. Sure, the suspension is supple, but it is also controlled. In bends at high speeds, there’s a bit of body roll but then it settles down. It actually feels composed and stable even over 120kmph! So, Citroen’s rally pedigree can be experienced in the way the C3 soaks up bumps and the way it likes to be hustled too.

Which one is the best, Citroen C3 or Toyota Glanza?
09 January 2024 08:16

While each vehicle excels in its own right, the Citroen C3 offers the functionality and room of a compact SUV for the cost of a hatchback that is comfortable on a range of surfaces. But it also lacks several basic equipment such as motorized adjustable mirrors, windshield wipers, and other creature conveniences to which we have grown accustomed from its competition. On the other hand, if you are looking for a hatch that satisfies a lot of needs the Glanza is an excellent option. It has more capacity than several more costly sedans an efficient engine selection, and a respectable features list. Therefore, you can choose the Glanza if a roomy cabin, good features, fuel economy, and power output are your top objectives.

Which car is better, Citroen C3 or Maruti Wagon R?
09 January 2024 08:13

Both vehicles excel in their own fields, but the Citroen C3 offers the room and functionality of a compact SUV for the cost of a hatchback that is comfortable on a range of surfaces. However, it is also devoid of many creature conveniences that its competitors have made us accustomed to, such as electrically adjustable mirrors and windshield wipers. Maruti Suzuki Wagon R, on the other hand, is the perfect little family vehicle. It has two engine options is efficient, practical, and capacious. It also has a convenient automatic transmission. Additionally we advise you to do a test drive to gain a better idea of compatibility and comfort when driving. One of the first of its kind (fuel injected) back when it came out, i own this bike and it gives the smoothest throttle response and superb mileage more than any other 125 or 135cc bikes in its class. one of the best bikes around, its called a cbf 125, this bike is a european model, driven all over in the u.k. and for all your information this bike is capable of doing almost a good 115kmph.putting any other bike in this segment to shame, watch my video,it speaks for itself.

Adding 500cc styling to a 125 cc bike n then selling it at, for all practical purposes, Rs 80000, is like adding a Jaguar turbocharger to a Nano jst cuz Tata owns Jaguar and then selling d nano at twice d price... Stupid bike!!

Honda should have added wing graghics with metal body color, and the price of CBF Stunner is also disappointing. Honda is a great bike company but this is not the bike honda should have done better.
