Ex Showroom Price vs On Road Price | Ex-Showroom Price is the Manufacturing Cost of the vehicle + Dealer/Seller Profit + GST (Goods and Service Tax) + Transportation Charges (from the manufacturing plant to the dealership). On the other hand, the On-Road Price is the actual cost you pay to the dealership to make the vehicle legal to run on the roads. It includes Ex-Showroom Price in your city + RTO Charges (Vehicle Registration) + One Time Road Tax + Insurance Charges. The On-Road Price also includes some optional things like if you opt for Genuine Accessories and Extended Warranty while buying a vehicle. Please note that the On-Road Price varies a lot across different states in India due to different percentage for the State Registration Charges. |
Hero Splendor Plus Black and Accent Edition Review
Quick Review by Maxabout Team
Hero Splendor Plus Black & Accent Edition comes with a 97.2cc BS6 engine. Hero Splendor Plus drum brakes setup results in a combined stopping system for both wheels. This Splendor Plus bike weighs 112 kg and has a 9.6-litre gasoline tank.
The Splendor Plus remains Hero Motocorp's best-selling model. The motorcycle is available in three models. Kick-start with alloy wheels, self-start with alloy wheels, and self-start with alloys and i3S.
The 100cc carbureted engine comes with a fuel-injection setup using Hero's XSens technology. At 8,000 rpm, the engine now produces 7.91 hp and 8.05 Nm at 6,000 rpm. This is a 1.3 hp loss, with torque being constant but reaching 1000 rpm later. The BS6-compliant engine is paired with a 4-speed constant mesh transmission system.
While the motorcycle's design has stayed constant. Hero has introduced the new Black and Accent variants, and the 100 Million Edition, to keep the market interested. Parts such as the motor, chain cover, and wheels are all painted black. The length of the Hero Splendor Plus Black and Accent is 1965mm, the width is 720mm, the height is 1045mm, and the wheelbase is 1235mm.
Telescopic front forks, dual shock absorbers, and drum brakes setup have also been preserved. While the BS4 Splendor Plus weighs 109kg (kerb), the BS6 variant is somewhat heavier due to engine modifications.
The Hero Splendor Plus BS6 is up against the TVS Sport when it comes to displacement and function.
The Hero Splendor Plus Black and Accent stands out from the rest of the lineup because of its all-black paint job. The engine, alloy wheels, and chain cover are all painted black with graphics accompanying them. Customers can change the graphics on the motorcycle at the time of purchase for an extra Rs 899. Bumble Bee Yellow, Firefly Golden, and Beetle Red are the available graphics. The full package includes the 3D logo, graphics, and rim tape, which costs INR 1399.
The mileage of the Hero Splendor Plus Black and Accent is around 65 km/l. The 100cc commuter motorcycle has a 0 to 60 km/h acceleration time of roughly 9 seconds. Hero Splendor Plus has a top speed of 87 kilometres per hour (real top speed figure).

Hero Splendor Plus XTEC 2.0
I bought the Hero Splendor Plus XTEC 2.0 because of its reputation. The tech features are impressive, and it feels like a modern bike. However, the engine could be more responsive, especially when overtaking. It's a good bike for city dwellers but not for those who seek adventure.

Hero Splendor Plus
Fantastic very good looking, good comfort, stylish planning to buy in July 2023.
Best Features: Mileage, Comfort and Look.
Pros: Looks is Good
Cons: Nothing
Good service experience, great mileage and a reliable engine
The buying experience from the showroom was very good and the service experience was good. We were able to maintain the air level in the tyres, which gave us a great mileage value. The fuel engine type was sometimes a bit irritating, but we were able to maintain the petrol level in the tank.
The Hero Splendor Plus is a great option for middle-class families. It offers good service experience, great mileage and a reliable engine. The fuel engine type can be a bit of a headache at times, but with proper care, it can perform well and last for a long time.
