Ducati has unveiled the 2025 models of the Panigale V2 and Streetfighter V2, featuring a new 890 cc L-twin engine that replaces the earlier 955 cc superquadro engine. This new engine produces 120 hp at 10,750 rpm and 93.3 Nm of torque at 8,250 rpm, and the bikes are significantly lighter, weighing 179 kg and 178 kg respectively. The new models also come with advanced electronic rider aids and optional features like heated grips and turn-by-turn navigation. I think the weight reduction and improved power-to-weight ratio will make these bikes even more appealing to riders.

The 2025 Ducati Panigale V2 and V2 S are set to launch in India, with prices expected to be competitive. The Panigale V2 will start at around Rs. 21 lakh, while the V2 S, which includes Ohlins suspension and other upgrades, will be priced higher. These bikes retain their aggressive design but with several key updates, including a conventional aluminum swingarm and twin-port underseat exhausts. I believe the combination of reduced weight and enhanced electronics will make these bikes a hit among Indian riders.

The Ducati Panigale V2 has been a standout in the WorldSSP championship, and the 2025 model aims to build on this success. With a new 890 cc L-twin engine and significant weight reduction, the bike is expected to maintain its competitive edge despite a slight reduction in power. The bikes electronic suite includes cornering ABS, traction control, and wheelie control, making it a robust package for sport riders. I believe the combination of performance and technology will keep it at the top of its class.
