It weighs just 171 kg dry and comes with Marchesini magnesium alloy wheels, bespoke Bridgestone tyres, and Brembo monoblock brakes. The bike is available in two color options Rosso GP and the Team Version with white stripes and sponsor decals. It includes a racing kit with a 102 dB exhaust system, a dedicated CPU, and other race-specific components. The Desmosedici RR is a masterpiece of engineering, designed for the track but made street-legal, making it a unique and highly desirable motorcycle for serious enthusiasts and collectors.

Our take on this /// Verdict
The Ducati Desmosedici RR is a marvel of engineering, a road-legal version of Ducatis MotoGP racer that embodies the essence of Italian motorcycle craftsmanship. With its 989cc Desmodromic 90 V4 engine producing nearly 200 hp at 13,800 rpm, this bike is a powerhouse that demands respect and skill to handle. Its lightweight magnesium alloy wheels, Brembo monoblock brakes, and bespoke Bridgestone tyres make it a track-ready machine. However, its raw nature, lacking even basic rider aids like traction control, makes it challenging for anything but the most experienced riders. The Desmosedici RR is a collectors dream, a piece of history that is as much a work of art as it is a performance bike. If youre looking for a motorcycle that is pure, unadulterated Ducati, this is it, but be prepared for the ride of your life.
Price
The Ducati Desmosedici RR, given its limited production run of 1,500 units, is a rare and highly sought-after motorcycle. When it was launched, the price was around forty thousand pounds, which translates to approximately 3.5 crores in todays exchange rates. However, due to its rarity and collectors value, the current market price in India can exceed 6 crores. This makes it one of the most expensive motorcycles available in the Indian market. The on-road price would include additional costs such as registration, insurance, and other local taxes, pushing the total cost even higher. For those who can afford it, the Desmosedici RR is an investment in motorcycle history and exclusivity.
Mileage
Tuesday, 19 November 2024 08:39 PM
The Ducati Desmosedici RR is not a bike for those concerned about mileage or running costs. With its high-performance engine and racing-oriented design, fuel efficiency is not its strong suit. You can expect mileage in the range of 5-7 kml, depending on how aggressively you ride it. The running costs, including fuel, maintenance, and potential repairs, will be significantly higher than most other motorcycles. If youre considering this bike, you should be prepared for the financial implications of owning a piece of motorcycle history.

It's 2 fast.... Really hard to ride and more importantly requires a lot legs training.... A little throttle raises it's front wheel even in 3rd shift..... It's like a concord..... Its suitable only to those persons who got 6feet or more height......
