Benelli has announced that the BKX 300 and BKX 125 will not be available in the Indian market, despite their global launch. This decision might disappoint Indian riders who were looking forward to these entry-level adventure bikes. I think this is a missed opportunity for Benelli to tap into the growing Indian market.

At EICMA 2024, Benelli showcased the BKX 300, an adventure bike designed for younger riders. The bike features a 292.4 cc, liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine producing 29.2 hp and 24.5 Nm of torque. It also includes a back-torque limiting slipper clutch and a steel double cradle frame. I believe this bike could be a great option for beginners looking for a fun and versatile ride.

Benelli revealed that the BKX 300 will be available at dealers worldwide starting from the second half of 2024. The pricing is yet to be determined, and there is no confirmation on whether it will be available in North America. A 125 cc and 250 cc version will also be launched for some markets. I think the wait will be worth it for those eager to get their hands on this new adventure bike.

The BKX 300 features a modern and eye-catching headlamp design, including a DRL, and a rear light combo integrating parking, stop, and turn indicator lights. The bike is a very good option if you have a thrill for off-road riding. The bike comes with a 249.2 cc liquid cooled 4 stroke engine. The bike generates a maximum horsepower of 25.2 PS @ 9000 rpm and a torque of 21.5 Nm@ 7500 rpm. The bike fits in well in the multi-purpose biking as a dirt bike prototype. There is no intimation as far as the pricing is concerned, but expect it to cost anywhere between INR 1.25-1.50 lakhs.
