Bajaj XCD 135 Review
Quick Review by Maxabout Team
Bajaj displayed XCD Sprint concept at the Auto Expo 2008 in New Delhi. Finally, it has been launched with a 135cc engine. But Bajaj India has changed the name - it is now XCD 135. May be Bajaj has kept "Sprint" Suffix for the upcoming Discover 150. New XCD 135 looks quite eye-catching, especially as an upgrade from the 100-110cc bikes we're used to.
But as far as design is concerned it looks more or less same like the XCD 125. The Concept bike shown at Auto Expo was a superb design having chrome finished tail lamp with LEDs inside. Also the headlamp was more aggresive looking. XCD 135's headlamp looks like a carryover from Discover 135. It has familiar styling & design of the present line up of Bajaj Bikes. The Headlamp, Side-Panels, Tail Lamps reminds you of the bigger Pulsars and the Discover.
Though the build quality looks very good and feels like a well put together motorcycle. It also boasts of a self starter which is a delightful feature to have. The switches are among the best in its segment and are pretty comprehensive. It is aimed at the customers in the value segment looking for a sporty alternative.

29 December 2022 06:09The exchange offers are given only at several occasions while dealerships are mostly willing to provide the best possible price for the used two wheeler when a new one is to be bought. You can visit the Bajaj dealership near to your location and see if they are offering some discount on the exchange of your motorcycle. You can visit multiple showrooms as it is possible that one won't offer a good price but the other one makes your day.

Can I exchange my 2009 Bajaj XCD 135 for a new one?
29 December 2022 06:08You cannot exchange your 2009 Bajaj XCD 135 for a new one as the XCD has been discontinued from a long time in the Indian market. You can exchange the same for the new Bajaj Pulsar 135 LS, which produces 13.56 PS and 11.4 Nm of torque from its 135 cc DTS-i engine. It weighs just 121 kg and comes with an attractive price tag of INR 58,000. It comes in attractive shades of Black, Plasma Blue and Cocktail Wine Red.

What should we do to increase mileage of Bajaj XCD 135 & what is the cost of new meter of same?
29 December 2022 05:53The Bajaj XCD 135 when driven between the speed of 45-55 kmph returns the best mileage and I personally have obtained much higher figures in the past. You should check the level of engine oil in the bike and even consult a mechanic as consuming engine oil points to the direction of engine seizing problem in the future. You should also get your air filter cleaned after every 3,000 km as it gets stuck with a lot of dirt due to our Indian weather conditions. You should get your carburettor tuned to a better efficiency level as wrong tuning increases fuel consumption. You will definitely receive a mixed mileage figure close to 60 kmpl if you follow these 3 steps and get it checked from an experienced mechanic or authorized Bajaj service center. The new meter can also be bought from the same sources and you can inquire about its cost from the concerned personnel at the service center.
