Latest Updates
Tuesday, 19 September 2023 11:41 AM The 2024 Kawasaki Eliminator is available in three versions, including a base model, an ABS version, and an SE version. The SE version comes with additional features like ABS, a headlight cowl, a USB-C outlet, fork boots, and a two-pattern seat. It is also the only version available in the Candy Steel Furnace Orange/Ebony colorway. I think the SE version offers great value for the extra features.
Sunday, 23 July 2023 08:27 AM The Kawasaki Eliminator is powered by a 451cc parallel-twin engine, derived from the Ninja 400, which provides strong low-end performance and a sporty riding experience. This engine is designed to appeal to both new and experienced riders. I believe this engine choice makes the Eliminator a versatile bike.
Sunday, 23 July 2023 08:18 PM The Eliminator features a trellis, high-tensile steel frame and a 6-speed transmission with a cable-actuated slip/assist wet clutch, contributing to its smooth and responsive performance. I think the transmission and frame design are well-suited for this bike.
Sunday, 23 July 2023 11:18 PM The bike is available in Pearl Robotic White and Pearl Storm Gray for the base and ABS models, while the SE version is available in Candy Steel Furnace Orange/Ebony. I think the color options are quite appealing.

Discussions and Questions Bajaj Eliminator

Had the Eliminator 175 arrived ahead of its time for the Indian market?
29 January 2025 09:06
I think it was just a little bit too late. But it probably would have been a runaway hit if it had come out just a few years later, when disposable incomes were higher and people had begun to think of motorcycles as more than just a means of transportation.
What is the legacy of Eliminator 175 on Bajaj’s current lineup?
29 January 2025 09:06
What Bajaj doesn't do with the Eliminator may be more important than what it does. The implication is that they haven’t really tried to get back in to the cruiser market again as they have learned that they are better off focusing on segments where they can be market leaders.
Did Bajaj drop the ball by axing the Eliminator 175?
29 January 2025 09:06
The Eliminator was never going to be a volume seller, let’s be real. Bajaj did a smart thing in focusing on more profitable segments. It’s a poker term largely, but sometimes you gotta know when to fold 'em.
Could the Eliminator 175 have become an electric cruiser?
29 January 2025 09:06
I believe it might work, but it would require a complete redesign. Hiding the battery pack would be the challenge while maintaining that low slung cruiser look. However, if done right, it could appeal to cruiser fans as well as eco conscious riders.
The Bajaj Eliminator 175 is truly a ‘poor man’s Harley’?
29 January 2025 09:06
I would say it was a decent entry level cruiser for the time. You won't be able to match a Harley, but it certainly gives you a taste of that cruiser riding position and style without the bank breaking. It was their first exposure to cruiser bikes for many Indians.
