I mean, it’s one of those things that you never think you need until you try it. I can’t imagine riding without it now.

It took a software update to get mine working, but now it works flawlessly. It definitely improves the riding 'feel' of the bike.

I think it’s more useful on bigger bikes. It’s nice to have on the 790 but not essential.

Love it. Like a transformer about to pounce, it looks. The angular design is really a standout in a sea of boring naked bikes.

It's too busy for my taste. I like Japanese bikes generally for the cleaner lines or the older KTMs.

The tail section is unfinished, but the headlight is killer. They must have run out of ideas halfway through designing it.

KTMs are hit or miss. I know people who have no problems with it, and I know people who are in the shop every other month. It's a gamble.

Japanese bikes aren't as bulletproof, but if you take care of them, they're good. Only be aware that there will be more frequent services.

My 790 has had nothing but trouble. Everything from oil leaks to electrical gremlins. Never buying another KTM.

With each generation, the reliability is improving. The early models are much worse than the newer 790s.

It’s all in how you treat the bike. If you follow the maintenance schedule religiously, it’ll treat you right.
