What is the most ridiculous mod you have seen on a KTM Duke 690?
The KTM Duke 690 is a bike that has a reputation for being a versatile platform to work from as far as customizing goes, with owners often taking their bikes and making them their own. As a result, we’ve seen a vast array of modifications, from down and dirty performance upgrades to more outlandish cosmetic alterations. Some riders take the modding to such extremes that it makes for some pretty eye-catching and sometimes questionable builds. The goal is to find out what are the most extreme, strangest, or most downright absurd modifications that a Duke 690 owner has made on their bike and to start a conversation about what the limits of customization are and what motorcycle culture is really about.

I once saw someone with a 690 with a custom-built fairing that made it look like a mini MotoGP bike. It was impressive craftsmanship, but useless on the street.

A guy covered his 690 in rhinestones. It’s like a disco ball on wheels, more likely to blind other drivers on sunny days!

I've seen a 690 converted to electric power, and that was the craziest mod I've seen. That thumper engine lost all the charm, but it was a cool engineering project.

In my area someone bought massive off-road tires for their 690 and jacked the suspension up. It resembled a monster trucked version of a Duke!

I have seen a 690 with a sidecar attached. So it kind of defeated the whole purpose of having a nimble single-cylinder bike, but I guess it was unique!

This dude had chopped the tail and added clip-ons to his 690 and called it a 'cafe racer.' It was so uncomfortable and totally ruined the character of the bike.

I’ve seen a 690 with a huge car stereo system on it. The guy said it was for 'motivational riding music,' but it was ridiculous!
