Synopsis
The Maruti Swift Sport is a performance hatchback expected to launch in India this year. The car is powered by a 1.4-litre turbocharged petrol engine that produces a max power of 140 hp and 230 Nm of peak torque. Maruti may equip this engine with a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission system.
The Swift Sport is expected to be priced between ? 9 lakh and ? 11 lakh. It will compete with the likes of the Hyundai i20 N Line, Volkswagen Polo GTI, and Ford Figo Sport.
The Swift Sport will be based on the regular Swift hatchback, but it will have a number of sporty styling changes. These include a new front bumper, a rear spoiler, and sportier alloy wheels The Swift Sport gets a sportier suspension setup and a more aggressive body kit than the regular Swift.
The Swift Sport will get a number of features that are not available on the regular Swift. These include a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a sportier instrument cluster, and a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Best Ride Quality than the Rest
I got my Swift ZXi in May, 2010 and now I have completed 40,000 kms on it. It has got a superb engine and driving it is a real joy. Yeah its steering get heavy at slow speeds but overall its fun to ride at high speeds. It supports ABS system that make my hill trips amazing as it perform really well. It never let me down on curvy roads and I just enjoyed every ride whether it is on city roads or highways. I am getting 14-15 kmpl average on city and 18-19 on highways. I am pretty satisfied with its performance. Inside the cabin, the company has provided comfy seats, Ac vents, spacious legroom and lots of spaces to keep important stuff. On the bad side, its boot space is bit short which creates problem when I have to go for long vacation with my family members.
