USER OPINION

Our take on this /// Verdict
The Maruti Ritz Elate Edition Diesel is a solid choice for those looking for a reliable and economical hatchback. The vehicle stands out with its cosmetic enhancements, including orange graphic decals, mud flaps, and black door visors, which give it a distinctive look. The 1.3-litre DDiS engine, producing 73bhp and 190Nm of torque, offers good performance and excellent fuel efficiency. The interior updates, such as the orange upholstery, new steering wheel cover, and floor mats, add a touch of elegance. However, the Ritz Elate Edition is mechanically identical to the regular version, so if youre looking for significant performance upgrades, you might be slightly disappointed. Nonetheless, its value-for-money proposition, coupled with Maruti Suzukis renowned service network and reliability, makes it a compelling option for everyday driving.
Price
The Maruti Ritz Elate Edition Diesel was priced at a premium of Rs 19,990 over the standard VDI variant. This places the ex-showroom price of the Ritz Elate Edition VDI around Rs 5.79 lakh, depending on the location. On-road prices would vary based on state taxes and other local levies, but you can expect to pay around Rs 6.5 lakh to Rs 6.8 lakh, including all the additional costs such as registration, insurance, and other fees. Given the additional features and the limited edition status, the price seems reasonable, especially considering the overall package and the brands reputation for durability and low maintenance costs.

I am riding Ritz since two years. It's a good car for small family of four members. The overall design is nice and different. Most of it, it's a fuel efficient car which is the prime need of every buyer. Initially, I got 12kmpl average through this car which later improved to 14kmpl. Yes, now it is constant at 14. I believe it depends upon the driving skills also that how well you treat your car. I always drive at moderate speed with less gear shifting. Ergonomically, its really amazing with good rolling of seats. The front seats are good enough to provide clear visibility of the road thanks to high driving position. The rear seats are also comfortable for long tours and it support lots of spaces for needy stuff. Overall, it provides smooth drive even with 5 on-board passengers. I must recommend this car to everyone.
