Our take on this /// Verdict
The Maruti Ritz Elate Automatic is a solid choice for those seeking a blend of convenience, comfort, and practicality. While it may not be the most stylish or powerful car in its segment, it compensates with its reliable performance, smooth automatic transmission, and a host of features that enhance the driving experience. The Elate edition, in particular, adds a touch of elegance with features like Bluetooth connectivity, parking sensors, and ambient lighting, making it a more appealing option. However, the cars stiff suspension and body roll during cornering might be a drawback for some. Overall, it is a good option for city driving and those who value ease of use and brand reliability.
Price
The Maruti Ritz Elate Automatic, although discontinued, can still be valued based on its last recorded prices. The ex-showroom price for the Ritz Automatic typically ranged from around Rs. 6.34 lakh to Rs. 6.81 lakh, depending on the variant and location. On-road prices would have been higher, including additional costs such as registration, insurance, and other local taxes, which could have added another Rs. 1-1.5 lakh to the total cost. Given its features and the brands reputation, the Ritz Elate Automatic offered good value for money, especially considering the additional features it came with.

Maruti Suzuki has discontinued the Ritz, including the Ritz Elate Automatic, to make way for new models like the YRA. This decision was made due to the Ritzs relatively low sales of 34,500 units in FY 2014-15. I think this move was necessary to keep their lineup fresh and competitive.

This setup provided a comfortable driving experience, especially in city traffic. I think the automatic transmission was a great option for urban drivers.

The fuel efficiency of the Ritz Elate Automatic was rated at 17.16 kmpl, which was competitive in its segment. This was a key selling point, especially for those looking for a fuel-efficient automatic hatchback. I believe the fuel efficiency was one of the strong points of this vehicle.

The Ritz Elate Automatic featured premium dual-tone interiors, which enhanced the overall comfort and aesthetic appeal of the car. Additional features like leather upholstery and alloy wheels were also available, making it feel more luxurious. I think these interior upgrades significantly improved the driving experience.

I bought my Ritz VDI on Sept'2015. I drove 43000 km as of now and I'm yet feeling new. It is easy to drive, very comfortable, it has good power and good looking too. I touched the top speed of 175kms
Best Features: Music System, Mileage, Easy to handle
Pros: Turbo Power, Road Clearance, Front seat comfort, No tiredness in driving
Cons: Rear passenger legroom, Quite tight steering
It easily reaches 90-100 kph. Acceleration is very nice
Best Features: Excellent height for tall passengers, good music system
Pros: Easy drive ability, short turning radius
Cons: Rear passenger leg room
I am riding Ritz since two years. It's a good car for small family of four members. The overall design is nice and different. Most of it, it's a fuel efficient car which is the prime need of every buyer. Initially, I got 12kmpl average through this car which later improved to 14kmpl. Yes, now it is constant at 14. I believe it depends upon the driving skills also that how well you treat your car. I always drive at moderate speed with less gear shifting. Ergonomically, its really amazing with good rolling of seats. The front seats are good enough to provide clear visibility of the road thanks to high driving position. The rear seats are also comfortable for long tours and it support lots of spaces for needy stuff. Overall, it provides smooth drive even with 5 on-board passengers. I must recommend this car to everyone.
Best Features: Drive
Pros: Looks, Mileage, Comfort, Handling
