Summary
As a single owner, I drove my Ford Fusion for 2.5 lakh kilometers.
Got highway mileage up to 17.5 KMPL on a stretch of 300 KM's. Ford introduced this semi SUV too early when the market was highly sedan oriented in this segment and brought in diesel version too late, probably Ford India was too excited with the success of Ford Fiesta in mid-2000.
Ford could not keep competition pressures and lost both models in a race with Hyundai & others.

Easy entry exit for a 6' sardar, reasonable boot space for 4 passengers, carries wheel chair comfortably.

•Early version of semi SUV that probably was too early in sedan dominated Indian market in 2004.

•Manufacturer disowned it earlier than the prospects in Indian market.
