Our take on this /// Verdict
In India, Yamaha only designs the Vmax sports cruiser bike. It is probably the most attractive bikes now on the market in India in terms of design. A "not-so-aggressive" approach is shown by its powerful overall design language. With its modern digital engine management systems, the Vmax provides a highly comfortable riding experience.
Price
The Yamaha VMAX Cruiser price was Rs 26.95 lakh before being discontinued in India. Available in only one color option i.e. Black.
Latest Updates
For as over-the-top and powerful as the Yamaha VMAX is, the announcement of its extinction came as more of a whimper than a shout, sneaked in at the end of a press statement outlining the exciting new colors coming for the remainder of the 2021 Yamaha street bike range. If you blinked, you missed it, but there it was: Thanks to age and the inability to come anywhere close to meeting Euro 5 emissions standards, the Yamaha VMAX will be discontinued after 2020.

15 September 2023 09:56Yamaha made the difficult decision to stop making the VMAX Cruiser for a couple of reasons. Think of it like comparing an older phone to the latest smartphone – technology keeps improving, and sometimes older things are retired to make way for newer, more advanced ones. User Reviews for Yamaha VMAX
Excellent Bike
I have been using this bike for more than 5 years, I don't have that many issues riding this bike. It gives me comfort and the looks are also amazing. It has a powerful engine that gives excellent performance.
Powerful Bike
The Yamaha v-max is a cruiser motorbike made by well known Yamaha company since 1985. It is well known for its powerful V4 engine, unique styling and drive. I am riding this bike from last two years. No, doubt it is a distinctive cruiser bike by Yamaha. But, it has some down sides also. Such as, it is heavier in weight and price is little high. The V-max redefines the word 'Torque'. On the other hand, it does not give fuel efficiency more than 10km/ltr.
Best Features: Powerful Engine
Pros: Performance, Quality, Looks and Distinctive Style, Reliabilty
Cons: Price, Customer Service, Heavy Weight
Awesome Acceleration and Muscular Beauty
The day I got my VMAX I fall in love with it every time I go for a ride. The rider position is comfortable which makes it easy to handle the machine. It is a great combination of engine performance and muscular design which makes it seem like it is going for a kill even when standing still. I feel proud when my VMAX attracts people's attention on the road. It is very smooth to ride motorcycle. So, If you are looking for fuel efficient bike, this is not the option for you.
Best Features: Incredible power and Muscular Looks
Pros: ABS, Slipper clutch, low maintenance battery, Looks
Cons: Price and Availability, Mileage
Original Power Cruiser
It is a muscular machine which is blessed with a bigger fuel tank capacity of 15 litres. In addition, its reserve fuel tank capacity is 6 litres. The looks are very appealing and can easily attract other person's attention easily. The acceleration is noteworthy as this cruiser can easily cover 100 kmph distance in just 2.70 seconds. The braking system has been improved as compared to previous model. One of the few disadvantages of this cruiser is that the driver seat is not comfortable. It has separate driver and pillion seat. On the other hand, the machine is very costly which is definitely not a cup of tea of every person.
Best Features: Excellent Acceleration & Stunning Looks
Pros: Stunning looks, sharp handling, good pickup, strong performance, excellent acceleration, improved braking system
Cons: High price, uncomfortable driving seat, tank-mounted LCD console is hard to see when driving
