Yamaha Fascino UBS Review

21 Dec, 2021 05:37 AM

Quick Review by Maxabout Team

The Yamaha Fascino 110 is the best-selling scooter from the company. The mere presence of the Yamaha brand on the scooter invokes confidence on its build quality. It is quite impressive to look at too, with looks that are not too controversial for the public. All things considered, the Fascino is quite a good product according to the price that it is offered at, and the vast network of the Yamaha dealerships and service centers help the cause of the increased sales numbers. The scooter is quite advanced in terms of technology and provides a good mileage too. However, the only thing that has caused an uprising of the complaints in the scooter is about the underpowered engine on it.

The Yamaha Fascino 110 is powered by a newly designed 113cc air-cooled four stroke single cylinder petrol engine with BLUE CORE technology. This engine enables the scooter to produce a maximum power of 7 bhp at 7500 rpm and a peak torque of 8.1 Nm at 5000 rpm. The engine is connected to the drivetrain via an automatic transmission. The fuel is supplied to the engine via a carburetor and the scooter manages to go up to 85 kmph speeds with a mileage of about 50 kmpl on both highways and urban traffic roads.

The Yamaha Fascino 110 is built around an underbone frame and the suspension duties on the scooter are handled by telescopic forks at the front and a unit swing at the rear. The body of the scooter is subjected off the ground by 10-inch wheels with 90/100-10 53J tires on both ends, which also feature drum brakes. The instrument panel on the scooter is all-analogue, and its low seat height and high ground clearance make it a comfortable ride through the city and on the highway.

The body is of low-quality material and broke into pieces after a small bump. Then there's the issue of noise from the engine. Mileage after 2 years is 25 kmpl.

Best Features: Looks

Pros: Very comfortable to ride

Cons: Mileage is pathetic! (25) I'm regretting buying this vehicle.
