TVS Victor Review
Quick Review by Maxabout Team
The old and trusted Victor moniker by TVS is back in India. The company defines the motorcycle as a must have machine for a family man. They have quite a long list of reasons for their terminology and Victor from its first look seems quiet appealing than an average commuter motorcycle. The newcomer gets a host of features, making it more like a premium commuter with its own attitude.
Design and Style
Victor carries a much advanced design than its predecessor, best viewed from its side profile. It comes with a short exhaust can and ends really well into the sharp tail light. The fuel tank has been beautifully designed, making the newcomer look better than Star City series of TVS motorcycles. It smoothly mixes the sporty character with a decent family drive.
Instrument Console
The best looking console in the segment, TVS offers a semi digital instrument console for the motorcycle. It offers a round, white background tachometer with digital fuel gauge in the same enclosure. On the right is a display with speedometer and other required readings. High beam, turn indicators and the neutral light is present above the display. Their is an option of hazard lights in the form of engine kill switch on the right side of the handlebar.
Engine and Gearbox
The motorcycle comes with a 109.7cc, 3 valve single cylinder engine producing the best in class 9.46 BHP @ 7,500 rpm and 9.4 NM @ 6,000 rpm. The bike comes with a 4-speed gearbox and TVS claims it to be the most refined engine of its segment. It returns a company claimed mileage figure of 76 kmpl.
Brakes and Suspension
TVS offers the best in class braking option with a 240mm petal disc brake at the front and a 110mm drum brake at the rear. It is also available with a front 130mm drum brake unit. Victor uses telescopic forks for the front and series spring suspension for the rear. The setup of braking and suspension is also the best available among the competition. It comes with TVS Remora tubeless tyres and black alloy wheels for both the variants.
Shades and Variants
Victor is being offered in 2 variants with disc in one and drum brake in another. It is being offered in 6 eye catching shades namely Blue, Red, Grey, Black Grey, Black Red and Silver.Ex-showroom Price
It has been perfectly price at INR 49,490 for the drum brake variant and INR 51,490 for the disc brake variant. If promoted well, TVS Victor has the potential to make a considerable drop in the sales of Honda Dream series, Hero Splendor series and even the Honda Livo.Infographic

TVS Victor is an awesome bike
The digital meter is pretty attractive as it feels like a combination of Bajaj Pulsar & Discover. BS4 bikes have small LED light strip below headlight and that looks good on the bike. Fuel Economy is awesome in the city while I get around 70 kmpl on the highway.

Pros: Pick-up, suspension, mileage, braking, overall comfort
Cons: Nothing, I dint find anything yet
