However, its reception was mixed, and it ultimately failed to gain the traction TVS had hoped for, largely because it was ahead of its time.

The TVS Jive was priced competitively at around Rs 41,000 ex-showroom in Chennai. It was nothing more than a restyled version of TVS Star City, which has been a popular moniker since last decade.
