Our take on this /// Verdict
The Kinetic Blaze Disc is a significant milestone in Indias scooter history, being the first sport scooter to hit the market. When I first laid eyes on it, I was struck by its unique and somewhat monstrous design, which was a stark departure from the traditional scooters like the Bajaj Chetak and LML Vespa. The Blaze boasts a 165cc, 4-stroke, 4-valve, single-cylinder air-cooled engine, producing 11.6 Bhp at 7500 rpm and 12 Nm of torque at 5000 rpm. The front disc brake and telescopic suspension both front and rear add to its sporty credentials. However, the Blazes appeal is somewhat marred by its relatively heavy kerb weight of 136 kg and a ground clearance of 160 mm, which might not be ideal for all road conditions. Despite this, it remains a compelling option for those seeking a sporty scooter experience.
Price
The Kinetic Blaze Disc is priced competitively in the Indian market. The ex-showroom price for this model is approximately 61,200. When you factor in the on-road costs, including registration, insurance, and other local taxes, the price can go up to around 70,000 to 75,000, depending on the state and city. This pricing makes it an attractive option for buyers looking for a sporty scooter without breaking the bank. However, its important to note that prices can vary slightly based on location and any additional features or accessories.
Mileage
Tuesday, 19 November 2024 10:54 PM
When it comes to mileage, the Kinetic Blaze Disc is fairly efficient for its class. It offers a mileage of around 35-40 kmpl in city conditions and up to 45 kmpl on highways, depending on the riding style and road conditions. This makes it a reasonable choice for daily commuting, especially considering its sporty performance. The fuel tank capacity of 6 litres is adequate for most users, ensuring that refueling is not too frequent.

Wonderful machine that pulls you out of crowd with amazing pickup and speed. Comfort and pleasure redefined by this scooters broad seats and riding position. Less fatigue and more delight for the rider as well as pillion. Engine and electricals are excellent. Fuel economy is optimum compared with competitors in this class. Road holding and stability are uncompromised. Head Turner on Indian roads.
