Kawasaki India has launched an ABS variant for the all-time favourite Kawasaki Ninja 300 in 2018 and the bike now supports better graphics and certain other color options too. Though there have been no changes done to the engine and it continues to be powered by 296 cc engine. The sports bike is one of the best offerings from the brand in an affordable price range and competes in the market with the likes of KTM RC390, Yamaha YZF-R3, KTM Duke 390 and more in the Indian market.

Coming to the engine specification, the Kawasaki Ninja 300 ABS is powered by 296 cc, Four-stroke, Parallel-twin, liquid-cooling engine capable of producing a maximum power of 38.5 Bhp @ 11000 rpm and an utmost torque of 27 Nm @ 10000 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. It has been specifically launched for targeting Indian customers and offer them a fun sports riding with an affordable and made in India initiative. The bike gets a seat height of 785mm, which is 5 mm lesser than its previous edition.The suspension duties are handled by 37mm telescopic forks at the front while the rear wheel gets a Linked rear monoshock.

The Kawasaki Ninja 300 ABS gets 290 mm Nissin disc brake at the front and 220mm Nissin disc brake at the rear. Coming to the design, there hasn’t been many changes besides more prominent Ninja branding on the fairing of the bike while the headlamps inspired from Ninja ZX-10R remains similar. When it comes to instigating more local components, the bike gets MRF tyres in addition to the standard ABS and endurance weights.  With a kerb weight of 179 kg, the sports bike is heavier than the first offering. The bike will be available in the market in two stunning shades- Lime Green/Ebony and Candy Plasma Blue. The top speed of the Kawasaki Ninja 300 ABS is 182 kmph while it covers 0-100 kmph in just a duration of 6.73 seconds. The company claimed mileage of the sports bike is 15-25 kmpl (combined).
