The Honda VTR 250 F has made a comeback in the Japanese domestic market after a significant hiatus. This revival brings back a model with a production history dating back to the early 1980s. The new version is expected to retain its popularity among enthusiasts. I think this is great news for those who love the classic design and performance of the VTR 250.

For middle-aged returning riders, the Honda VTR 250 has been a popular choice due to its balance of power and agility. Recent maintenance tips include changing the oil filter, oil, sprockets, and chain, as well as adding carburetor cleaner and fitting new tires. These tweaks can make the bike run smoothly again. I think its a great option for those looking to get back into riding.

In recent updates, the Honda VTR 250 has been reworked by custom shops like Deus Japan. These modifications include new flat track bars and repositioned foot pegs that are 130mm further forward and 40mm down from the stock position, enhancing the bikes handling and rider comfort. This kind of customization shows the versatility of the VTR 250.

Honda introduced fuel injection to the VTR 250 in 2009, replacing the carburetors with the PGM-FI system. This change led to the airbox being moved under the petrol tank to maintain the bikes slim profile. The dashboard and instruments were also completely updated. This move improved the bikes efficiency and performance. I believe this was a significant step in modernizing the VTR 250.

Honda VTR 250 is a discontinued model from Honda which will not be launched in any part of India. As an option, I would suggesst you to go for CBR250, which is a fully faired bike having excellent performance and better looks than the VTR250.
