FAQs
-
Does the VFR1200F cut the mustard?
17 January 2025 07:10It depends, I think, on what you’re looking for. Maybe not if you want raw, visceral excitement. But not for a refined, powerful sport touring experience? It's spot on.
-
Is the VFR1200F being overlooked in the sport-touring segment?
17 January 2025 07:10I think I’m in a secret club as an owner. I have everyone who rides my VFR1200F impressed, but it’s quite a rare bike and not many people seem to have heard of it.
-
What does the VFR1200F's DCT version do to the sport touring experience?
17 January 2025 07:10I really like that you are able to toggle between auto mode and manual mode. Get the best of both worlds with auto for easy touring and switch to manual when you want to play.
-
The VFR1200F's fuel range is it a deal breaker for long distance touring?
17 January 2025 07:10I've done several 500+ mile days on my VFR1200F and the fuel range really isn't nearly as bad as everyone makes it out to be. I know you stop more often, but I view it as an opportunity to stretch and to stay fresh.
-
How does the VFR1200F weight up in the real world?
17 January 2025 07:10I don't think the weight complaints are overblown. It is, after all, heavy, but it’s also a sport tourer. What did people expect? What it is, it handles beautifully.
