Honda Eterno DLX

About
The Honda Eterno DLX is a scooter that was introduced by Honda to cater to the Indian markets demand for more powerful and feature-rich scooters. Powered by a 147.7 cc, 4-stroke single-cylinder air-cooled engine, it produces 8.2 horsepower at 6000 rpm and 10.63 Nm of torque at 4000 rpm. The scooter features a 4-speed gearbox and a wet multiplate clutch, along with kick-start only ignition. It has a fuel capacity of 4.5 liters and a kerb weight of 125 kg. The Eterno DLX boasts disc brakes on both the front and rear, though it lacks ABS. Its high rigidity underbone frame and alloy wheels provide stability and comfort. The scooters dimensions, including a length of 1810 mm, width of 716 mm, and height of 1132 mm, make it a spacious and comfortable ride. Despite being discontinued, the Honda Eterno DLX remains a reliable and efficient scooter for those looking for a used vehicle with good performance and maintenance records.

Our take on this /// Verdict
The Honda Eterno DLX, although discontinued since September 2012, remains a notable scooter in Indias automotive history. My experience with this scooter highlights its smooth and efficient performance, thanks to its 147.7 cc, 4-stroke single-cylinder air-cooled engine. The Eterno DLX is known for its ultra-refined engine, which is quieter and more refined than some of its contemporaries. The scooters high rigidity underbone frame and disc brakes on both the front and rear wheels contribute to its stability and safety. However, the lack of modern features such as ABS and mobile connectivity might make it less appealing to todays buyers. Despite this, its good torque, comfortable ride, and decent maintenance costs make it a reliable choice for those looking for a used scooter.
Price
The Honda Eterno DLX is no longer available for purchase as a new vehicle, having been discontinued in 2012. However, for those interested in the used market, prices can vary widely depending on the condition, mileage, and location of the scooter. Generally, you can expect to pay between 20,000 to 40,000 for a well-maintained used Eterno DLX. This price range reflects the scooters age and the fact that it is no longer supported by the manufacturer with new parts or warranties. When considering the purchase, its crucial to inspect the vehicle thoroughly and check its service history to ensure youre getting a good deal.
Mileage
Wednesday, 20 November 2024 12:25 AM The Honda Eterno DLX offers an ARAI-certified mileage of 60 kmpl, which is quite impressive for a 150cc scooter. This mileage makes it a cost-effective option for daily commuting, especially in urban areas where fuel efficiency is a key consideration. However, real-world mileage can vary based on riding conditions, maintenance, and driving style, but overall, the Eterno DLX is known for its fuel-efficient performance.

I think they should add 1) New & effective suspensions 2) Fuel indicator 3) Self-start. Bcoz, 1) Current Jumpers are not as much effective 2) Fuel indicator for convenience 3) Self-start for convenience, especially for aged people.

Best Features: Build quality, Mileage.

Pros: Worth buying, Start with 1st kick in any season, Even if you start it for the 1st time in a day

Cons: Both front & rear suspensions are not as much effective
