Honda has officially stopped the production of the CBF Stunner PGM-Fi in India due to poor sales and lack of demand. The fuel-injected version of the motorcycle was the first to be discontinued, followed by the carbureted variant. This decision was made after the bike failed to attract both commuters and enthusiasts.

The CBF Stunner PGM-Fi was known for its semi-faired design, which added a sporty touch to the commuter segment. However, its high price tag and relatively poor performance numbers compared to competitors made it less appealing to buyers. I think the design was a step in the right direction, but it needed more power to match its looks.

Honda updated the CBF Stunner PGM-Fi with new paint schemes and cosmetic updates in an attempt to boost sales. Despite these efforts, the bikes sales continued to decline, ultimately leading to its discontinuation. Its clear that cosmetic changes werent enough to save this model.
Sunday, 10 March 2013 10:45 AM
The CBF Stunner PGM-Fi was powered by a 124.7cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine, producing 11bhp at 8,000 rpm and 11Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm. This engine was mated to a five-speed gearbox and used a chain drive. The engine was smooth, but it lacked the punch needed for enthusiastic riders.
Wednesday, 20 February 2013 09:45 AM
The bike featured a 240mm disc brake at the front and a 130mm drum brake at the rear, along with alloy wheels and tubeless tires. These features were commendable, but they didnt compensate for the bikes overall performance issues. I believe better braking could have made a difference, but it wasnt enough.

Hondas decision to discontinue the CBF Stunner PGM-Fi was also influenced by the launch of the Hero Ignitor, which was essentially a duplicate of the CBF Stunner but at a more competitive price. This competition further reduced the appeal of the Honda model.
Saturday, 15 December 2012 04:29 PM
The CBF Stunner PGM-Fi had a fuel tank capacity of 10 liters and a kerb weight of 128 kg. It also featured split seats and a half chain case, which were unique in its category. Despite these features, the bike failed to gain significant market traction.
Saturday, 10 November 2012 05:49 AM
The bike was part of Hondas lineup since its launch in 2008 and was known for its excellent mileage, with an ARAI-certified mileage of 61 kmpl. However, real-world mileage varied, and owners reported averages around 50-55 kmpl.
Saturday, 20 October 2012 08:19 AM
Owners of the CBF Stunner PGM-Fi praised its smooth engine and good pickup, but criticized the availability of spare parts, particularly body fibers, which took more than a month to obtain. This issue added to the bikes declining popularity.
Saturday, 15 September 2012 07:35 PM
The CBF Stunner PGM-Fi was BS3-compliant before the emission norms were updated, and it did not receive the necessary upgrades to meet the newer BS4 or BS6 standards, which further limited its market viability.
