Latest Updates
Sunday, 15 March 2020 02:22 PM The Honda Aviator, a popular scooter in India, was discontinued in March 2020, marking the end of its production run. This decision was part of Hondas strategy to streamline its product lineup and focus on more modern and feature-rich models. I think this move was necessary to keep up with the evolving market demands.
Thursday, 26 July 2018 12:52 PM In 2018, Honda launched an updated version of the Aviator, featuring a new LED headlamp, a metal exhaust heat shield, and additional storage hooks. The scooter also got a new Pearl Spartan Red color scheme, replacing the Rebel Red Metallic. This update enhanced the scooters practicality and visual appeal. I believe these tweaks made the Aviator more attractive to potential buyers.
Thursday, 26 July 2018 02:08 AM The Honda Aviator was known for its robust engine, a 109.19 cc air-cooled single cylinder motor producing 8.03 PS of power and 8.94 Nm of torque. This engine, combined with Hondas Eco Technology (HET), ensured good fuel efficiency, with a claimed mileage of 60 kmpl. I think this engine was a key factor in the Aviators popularity for daily commuting.
Thursday, 26 July 2018 05:35 AM The Aviator came in three variants, each with different braking and wheel options. The top model featured alloy wheels and a front disc brake, while the base model had steel wheels and drum brakes. All variants included Combined Braking System (CBS) for enhanced safety. I believe the variety in options helped cater to different customer preferences.
Thursday, 26 July 2018 04:10 AM One of the standout features of the Honda Aviator was its comfortable ride, thanks to telescopic front suspension and a spring-loaded hydraulic rear suspension. This setup made the scooter suitable for both city and occasional highway use. I think the suspension played a crucial role in the Aviators comfort and handling.
Thursday, 26 July 2018 05:27 PM The Aviator had a spacious under-seat storage capacity of 20 liters, which was a significant advantage for users needing to carry items like helmets or small bags. This feature, along with the retractable hook under the seat, added to the scooters practicality. I believe this storage space was a major selling point.
Thursday, 26 July 2018 08:35 AM Honda Aviators design included a clear lens headlamp, chrome accents, and a well-designed body with curvy headlamps and clear lens indicators. The scooter was available in several color options, including Pearl Igneous Black, Matte Selene Silver Metallic, and Pearl Amazing White. I think the design elements made the Aviator look premium and appealing.
Thursday, 26 July 2018 09:10 AM The Aviator was priced competitively, with the base model starting at around Rs 55,157 (ex-showroom, Delhi) in 2018. This pricing made it an attractive option for those looking for a reliable and feature-rich scooter. I believe the pricing strategy helped Honda to maintain a strong market presence.
Thursday, 26 July 2018 12:18 PM Despite its many advantages, the Honda Aviator lacked some modern features such as a fully digital instrument cluster and smartphone integration, which were becoming standard in newer scooters. This was seen as a drawback by some potential buyers. I think these omissions might have affected its appeal to tech-savvy customers.
Thursday, 26 July 2018 03:09 PM The Aviators fuel efficiency was a significant selling point, with real-world mileage ranging between 48 to 66 kmpl, depending on conditions and maintenance. This made it an economical choice for daily use. I believe the fuel efficiency was a key reason for its popularity among commuters.

What an innovation from Honda, auto headlights stays on even in day, which can't be switched off as Honda doesn't provides switch. It should be direct headlights instead of auto headlights. Really embarrassing feeling while riding in day. So now you need to fit a new switch from your own expense. They give a charger point in storage space although you need to buy adapter to connect. HONDA IS HONDA........

I have completed almost 3 years on my Aviator and I have not been disappointed so far, in fact I have been pleasantly surprised just how good the scooter really is. It has a muscular looks which makes it somewhat different from other two-wheelers like Honda Dio, Honda Activa etc. The seating position is comfortable, upright, and wide, which makes it feel compact and confidence inspiring when riding enthusiastically. Its seat height is 790mm which gives comfortable leg space to stretch your legs. But the seat height can create an problem for short riders. The seat is wide and comfortable with good cushioning. I had drive around 5000 kms. The scooter is smooth, sturdy and has very good suspension making the life easier on tough roads. Its stability and braking is impressive. Its main drawback is its weight which makes it quite uncomfortable to handle.

Best Features: Good build quality

Pros: Good build quality, huge under seat storage, muscular looks, comfortable seating position, powerful engine, good mileage

Cons: Heavy weight

I am using Aviator from 2013, it was my result time after 10th exams when I got my scooter. I have done everything on this scooter from the traffic cuts, crossing shallow streams, carrying heavy bags up to 26-27 kg but my scooter never offended me. It has a good Seat height for comfortable leg space to stretch your legs but it can create problem for short riders. Pillion seat is positioned bit higher that allows better view of road ahead. It offers upright riding posture which helps in strain free drive. It climbs hilly roads with ease and till now I have ride it at max speed of 90-95 kmph. Yes, the engine become noisy at high speed but it can be ignored for fun drive. Regarding the brakes, I can say it has the best brakes among all scooters. How can I forget to mention its under seat storage, it offers enough space to carry helmet and a separate space for the documents. It is giving me 45 - 48 kmpl average on city roads which is good according to me. Rest everybody has their own opinions.

Best Features: Mileage

Pros: Excellent ride quality, sturdy and stable, Brakes, Storage

Cons: Nothing really at this point
