Discussions and Questions Hero Splendor
I have a Hero Splendor pro-2016 Model Bike and now I want to exchange it with Hero super splendor hf deluxe or Ismart. Can I exchange it or not?
You can consider exchanging your 2016 Hero Splendor Pro for either the Hero Super Splendor or the Hero HF Deluxe, but it's important to evaluate the differences and your needs. Here are some key points to consider:
The Hero Splendor Pro 2016 comes with a 97.2 cc air-cooled, 4-stroke single cylinder OHC engine, producing 8.36 PS of power and 8.05 Nm of torque, paired with a 4-speed gearbox. It has a fuel capacity of 11 liters, a top speed of 87 kmph, and an ARAI mileage of 90 kmpl. The bike features drum brakes at both ends, telescopic hydraulic shock absorbers at the front, and a swing arm with 5-step adjustable hydraulic shock absorbers at the rear[3>.
In contrast, the Hero Super Splendor has a slightly larger 124.7 cc engine, producing 10.72 PS of power and 10.6 Nm of torque, also with a 4-speed gearbox. It offers similar suspension and braking systems but with some modern features like i3S technology for better fuel efficiency and a slightly larger fuel tank[3>.
The Hero HF Deluxe, on the other hand, has a 97.2 cc engine similar to the Splendor Pro but with slightly different power and torque outputs . It also features a 4-speed gearbox, drum brakes, and similar suspension. However, it lacks some of the cosmetic and feature upgrades seen in the Super Splendor[2>.
When exchanging, consider factors such as the condition of your current bike, the market value, and the additional features or improvements you are looking for in the new models. It would be wise to consult with a dealer or use online tools to determine the best exchange value for your 2016 Hero Splendor Pro.
Can I customize the Hero Splendor Plus Xtec with additional accessories?
You can certainly customize the Hero Splendor Plus XTEC with a variety of additional accessories to enhance its comfort, functionality, and style. Key accessories include a mobile charging mount for hands-free navigation and phone charging, a disc brake lock for added security, a comfortable seat cover or memory foam seat cushion to reduce fatigue on long rides, and an engine guard to protect the engine from damage. Other useful accessories include LED fog lights for improved visibility in low-light conditions, a weather-resistant bike cover to protect the motorcycle from environmental elements, and practical items like a premium mobile holder and grip covers. These accessories can be purchased directly from Hero MotoCorp's online store or through authorized dealerships, allowing you to personalize your bike according to your riding needs and preferences.
Which is better, Hero Splendor Plus or TVS Raider?
The choice between the Hero Splendor Plus and the TVS Raider depends on several factors, including budget, performance requirements, and personal preferences. The Hero Splendor Plus is cheaper, with an ex-showroom price starting at ?77,176, compared to the TVS Raider which starts at ?85,010. In terms of engine capacity, the TVS Raider has a more powerful 124.8 cc engine producing 11.38 PS of power, whereas the Hero Splendor Plus has a 97.2 cc engine producing 8.02 PS of power. The TVS Raider also offers better performance and a more modern feature set, including a digital speedometer and synchronized braking system. However, the Hero Splendor Plus is known for its reliability, comfort, and lower maintenance costs, with a claimed mileage of around 70 kmpl compared to the TVS Raider's 65-71.94 kmpl. Ultimately, if you prioritize power and modern features, the TVS Raider might be the better choice, but if you are looking for a reliable, cost-effective option with good mileage, the Hero Splendor Plus could be more suitable.
Does the Hero Splendor Pro come with electric start?

Awesome bike, headlight issue fixed
Guys, don't worry about headlight on issue. I went to auto shop and got a new switch fixed for Rs 200. That's as simple as it sounds. This bike runs great and has a good mileage. It's new and style is good. Don't get bothered by headlight issue. It can be fixed in 10 minutes. It's too bad that Hero dealer didn't mention that it can be fixed outside for Rs 200. It actually looks good now.
