Our take on this /// Verdict
The Hero Glamour Drum Brake is a solid choice for those seeking a reliable and efficient commuter bike in India. My experience with this bike has been positive, particularly in terms of its mileage and maintenance costs. The bikes 125 cc engine, producing 10.53 PS of power and 10.4 Nm of torque, provides sufficient performance for daily commuting. While the drum brakes may not offer the same level of stopping power as disc brakes, they are adequate for typical urban riding conditions. The bikes stability at high speeds and its refined engine make it a comfortable ride. However, some users have noted that the rear brake feels less effective, and the seat could be softer for long rides. Overall, its a great option for those looking for a budget-friendly, fuel-efficient bike with good performance.
Price
The Hero Glamour Drum Brake is priced competitively in the Indian market. The ex-showroom price in Delhi is Rs 83,098. When you factor in the RTO and bike insurance costs, the on-road price comes to around Rs 96,059. This pricing makes it an attractive option compared to its competitors like the Honda Shine 125 Drum OBD2 and the Honda SP 125 Drum, which are priced higher. For the features and performance it offers, the Glamour Drum Brake provides good value for money, making it a viable choice for budget-conscious buyers.
