USER OPINION

Our take on this /// Verdict
The Hero Glamour Disc Brake is a solid choice for those seeking a reliable and efficient commuter bike in India. With its 125 cc air-cooled engine producing 10.53 PS of power and 10.4 Nm of torque, it offers a balanced performance suitable for daily commuting. The bikes refinement is notable, especially with the i3S start-stop system and Auto Sail feature, which enhance fuel efficiency and ease of use in traffic. However, the braking system, while adequate, could be improved, particularly the rear drum brake which feels less effective. The suspension, though not the most plush, is stable and capable of handling heavy loads. Overall, the Glamour Disc Brake is a good value for money, offering a blend of style, features, and performance that makes it a compelling option in its segment.
Price
The Hero Glamour Disc Brake variant is priced at Rs 87,098 (ex-showroom) in Delhi. When you factor in the on-road costs, including registration, insurance, and other charges, the price can go up to around Rs 1,00,000 to Rs 1,05,000, depending on the state and local taxes. This pricing positions the Glamour Disc Brake competitively against other bikes in the 125 cc segment, such as the Honda SP 125 and Bajaj Pulsar 125. Given the features and performance it offers, the Glamour Disc Brake is a reasonable investment for those looking for a reliable commuter bike.

The suspension duties are handled by telescopic forks at the front while the rear wheel gets twin shock absorbers.

The wheelbase of 1262 mm and a ground clearance of 159 mm makes the bike much smoother to handle over the sharp corners. The Hero Glamour 125 gets a 240mm disc brakes at the front while the rear only gets 130mm drum brakes. The semi-digital instrument console offers a well understanding of the numbers. The overall design gives it a bulkier and powerful stance.

Coming to the latest innovations, the addition of i3s, Hero's patented start-stop technology makes it rank amongst the highest economic and reliable bikes of the year. The AHO features also adds to its popularity. Covering 0-60 kmph in just a duration of 6.03 seconds, the Hero Glamour is a good buy. It offers a mileage of 55 kmpl in the city while you can expect something up to 60 kmpl on the highways.  The bike is available in the market in 3 stunning shades- Candy Blazing Red/Black, Black/Sports Red and Black/Techno Blue.
