USER OPINION

Our take on this /// Verdict
The Hero Passion Pro Self Start is a mixed bag when it comes to overall performance and user experience. On the positive side, the bike boasts a refined 113cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that delivers 9.02hp of power and 9.89Nm of torque, making it quite capable for daily commuting. The AutoSail function and i3S technology are notable features that enhance fuel efficiency and ease of riding in traffic conditions. However, several users have reported issues with the self-start system, battery problems, and gear shifting difficulties, which can be frustrating. The bikes design and build quality are commendable, with a sporty and elegant appearance, but the reliability and consistency of the bikes performance are areas that need improvement. Overall, it is a good option for those looking for a commuter bike with decent fuel efficiency, but potential buyers should be aware of the potential issues.
Price
The Hero Passion Pro Self Start is priced competitively in the Indian market. The ex-showroom price starts from Rs. 93,885 for the base variant, with the top variant, the Hero Passion Pro XTec Disc, priced at Rs. 99,879 ex-showroom. On-road prices vary depending on the state and local taxes but generally range from Rs. 1,05,000 to Rs. 1,12,000. Considering the features and the brands reputation, the pricing is reasonable, especially given the 5-year warranty and minimal maintenance costs. I have purchased this bike on 22 Jul 2012 and done with around 700 kms. The roads in my town is not great, it's in bad shape still my bike before first servicing was giving an average of 70 kms per litre. I ride at a speed of 40-45 kms/hr. I feel one should not race with the bikes on the road and should ride with safety and if anyone wants to race they should go to the racing tracks instead. I am really impressed with the bike.

It is the worst bike as I had a worst experience with it.. Got rid of it within 8 months.. It was low on mileage and zero pickup.. With a pillion behind I felt, I was carrying him on my shoulders... Not a good bike, don go for it... Waste of precious money... Low braking as well... It was my first bike and it was my worst experience... But, its transmission was USER FRIENDLY!! Hero Honda doesn't live upto its reputation!!!

Well, the bike is good to ride and it provides comfort for long travels too. The thing is ride within 50 kmph then you will get nice mileage if not ask your mechanic to tune your engine to mileage. The difference between Splendor and Passion is nothing the engine is same but the mileage differs because to the width of the rear tyre! both are awesome bikes!
