| Vehicle Overview | Hero Honda CD Dawn was of the most affordable and popular offering of its time. The motorcycle came with the tried and tested 97.2 cc, single cylinder engine producing 7.4 PS at 8000 rpm and 7.7 Nm at 5000 rpm. The same engine has now been refined to a higher extent and soon would be shifted to the BS4 compliant architecture. The engine still uses the same 4-speed gearbox. Hero Honda CD Dawn weighs just 107 kg and came with a top speed of 85 kmph. It was offered with metal fenders and spoke wheels at its time of sale. The rivals of its age included Bajaj CT100 and TVS Sport. |
