Ducati Panigale S

About
The Ducati Panigale V4 S is a technological marvel that marks a significant departure from Ducatis traditional L-twin engines. Powered by a 1103cc 90-degree V4 engine, it produces 211bhp at 13,000rpm and 124Nm of torque at 10,000rpm. This engine features a counter-rotating crankshaft, which minimizes gyroscopic effects and enhances stability. The bike is equipped with advanced electronics, including multiple riding modes, wheelie control, and a race-derived dashboard layout. The chassis is lightweight and rigid, with the swingarm and front frame mounted directly to the engine. The Panigale V4 S also comes with Pirelli Diablo Super Corsa SP III tires, which offer exceptional grip but have a shorter lifespan. With its sleek design, vibrant motor, and meticulous attention to detail, the Panigale V4 S is a dream machine for serious motorcycle enthusiasts.

USER OPINION

Our take on this /// Verdict
The Ducati Panigale V4 S is an absolute marvel of engineering and a testament to Ducatis commitment to creating the ultimate superbike. This bike is not just about raw power its about precision, control, and an unparalleled riding experience. With its 1103cc 90-degree V4 engine producing 211bhp and 124Nm of torque, it delivers mind-numbing acceleration and a riding experience that is both exhilarating and intensely rewarding. The counter-rotating crankshaft and advanced electronics make it surprisingly tractable, even for non-professional riders. However, its high price and the need for a GP-sized circuit to fully appreciate its capabilities mean its not for everyone. Despite this, the Panigale V4 S remains one of the most desirable and special feeling superbikes on the market.
Price
In India, the Ducati Panigale V4 S comes with a hefty price tag, reflecting its exclusivity and technological prowess. The ex-showroom price for the V4 S is around Rs 33.06 lakh, while the base model of the Panigale V4 is priced at Rs 27.41 lakh. When you factor in the on-road costs, including taxes, registration, and insurance, the total cost can easily exceed Rs 40 lakh. This makes the Panigale V4 S one of the most expensive motorcycles available in the Indian market. However, for those who crave the ultimate in performance and exclusivity, the price may be justified by the unparalleled riding experience it offers.
Latest Updates
Friday, 26 July 2024 11:27 AM The 2024 Ducati Panigale V4 S has been unveiled with significant updates, including a new hollow symmetrical swingarm that reduces lateral stiffness by 37%, and a front frame that is 730 grams lighter with reduced lateral stiffness. These changes enhance cornering stability and mechanical grip. The bike also features Öhlins NPX/TTX electronic suspension and the new Brembo Hypure braking system. I think these updates will make the Panigale V4 S even more appealing to serious track riders.
Friday, 26 July 2024 10:13 AM Ducati has announced that the 2024 Panigale V4 S will be launched in India by the end of the year or early next year, with prices expected to be around Rs. 30 lakh (ex-showroom). This places it in direct competition with the BMW S 1000 RR. The Indian market is eagerly awaiting this high-performance superbike.
Friday, 26 July 2024 10:21 PM The 2024 Ducati Panigale V4 S boasts a redesigned front end with slimmer LED headlights and a larger windscreen, improving aerodynamic efficiency by 4%. The aero winglets have also been redesigned and repositioned below the headlights. These changes contribute to a sharper and more aggressive look. I believe the new design will appeal to both track enthusiasts and street riders.
Friday, 26 July 2024 02:21 PM The Panigale V4 S comes with a 1,103 cc V4 motor that is now Euro 5+ compliant, producing 214 bhp at 13,500 rpm and 120.9 Nm of peak torque at 11,250 rpm. The bike also features a six-speed gearbox and a bi-directional quick-shifter. These updates ensure the bike remains at the top of its class in terms of performance.
Friday, 26 July 2024 11:47 AM Ducati has made significant ergonomic changes to the 2024 Panigale V4 S, including a new 17-litre fuel tank for better grip during acceleration, braking, and cornering. The seat is wider and longer, and the footpegs are positioned 10 mm inwards for better comfort and cornering clearance. These changes should make the bike more comfortable for long rides.
Friday, 26 July 2024 10:16 AM The 2024 Panigale V4 S is equipped with advanced electronic rider aids, including different riding modes, power modes, race eCBS, Ducati Vehicle Observer, traction control, wheelie control, and slide control. The bike also features an updated TFT dashboard to communicate these settings to the rider. I think these features will make the bike more accessible to a wider range of riders.
Wednesday, 15 March 2023 07:15 AM The Panigale V4 S adopts the Öhlins NPX 25/30 pressurized fork, which is assisted by the Öhlins Smart EC 2.0 event-based electronic control system. This setup provides better braking support and road bump absorption, enhancing the overall riding experience.
Friday, 10 March 2023 09:59 AM Ducatis continuous updates to the Panigale V4 S are driven by feedback from customers and data from Superbike World Championship events. The latest updates include improvements to aerodynamics, chassis, electronic control, and Ride by Wire mapping, all aimed at increasing stability and turn-in speed.
Monday, 20 February 2023 10:04 PM The 2023 version of the Panigale V4 S saw significant electronic improvements, including new Engine Brake Control EVO 2 software, enhancements to Ducati Quick Shift, and a new cooling fan control strategy. These updates further enhance the bikes performance and riding feel on the track.
Wednesday, 25 January 2023 05:40 AM The Panigale V4 S features a state-of-the-art electronic package with a 6-axis inertial platform that detects roll, yaw, and pitch angles, allowing precise intervention of rider-assistance controls. This technology makes the bike more intuitive and less fatiguing for riders of all levels.
Mileage
Tuesday, 19 November 2024 01:07 PM Mileage is not a strong suit for the Ducati Panigale V4 S, given its high-performance nature. This bike is designed for speed and agility rather than fuel efficiency. You can expect an average mileage of around 8-10 kml, but this can vary significantly depending on your riding style and the conditions. If youre concerned about running costs, you should be prepared for frequent fuel stops and higher maintenance costs due to the high-performance tires and advanced components.

Luxurious and Stylish Bike

I am approaching 300 miles on this beautiful machine and loving every second of it. I feel good when it grabs attention instantly like every Ducati get. Its power delivery is fantastic and it's as comfortable to ride as other sports bike. Initially, I faced difficulty in handling because of its slanting seating position and because of that I sometimes felt pain in my wrist also. Now, I am used to it and handle it very comfortably in the traffic. One more thing I would like to mention here that only person with a good height can ride it easily, this is not the game of short height person. As these sports bike are not meant for daily commute, So the mileage figure doesn't matters to me. Those who are looking for fuel efficient bike, please check Passion XPro or Pulsar. The only complain I have in this bike is side stand which I feel very hard to get down most of the time I end putting it down with my hand.
