Our take on this /// Verdict
The Bajaj CT 125X Drum is a robust and practical commuter bike that ticks all the right boxes for those seeking a reliable and affordable ride. My experience with the bike was overwhelmingly positive, thanks to its sturdy build quality, comfortable riding ergonomics, and decent engine performance. The 124cc engine, though not the most refined at high revs, delivers power in a linear manner and has a flat torque curve, making it suitable for both city and highway riding. The suspension, comprising telescopic forks and SNS rear suspension, handles rough roads with ease, although it can feel a bit firm at low speeds. The lack of ABS is a minor drawback, but the Combined Braking System (CBS) does its job well. Overall, the CT 125X Drum is a well-thought-out machine that offers great value for money, making it a strong contender in the 125cc commuter segment.
