FAQs
-
What is the performance of Chetak 2903 TecPac compared to traditional petrol scooters?
14 January 2025 11:08It’s great performance-wise for commuting. The linear power delivery moves smoothly, a relaxing feature when stuck in traffic. It is not as exciting as a petrol sporty scooter.
-
Can we rely on the Chetak 2903 TecPac's battery in extreme Indian weather conditions?
14 January 2025 11:08Thermal management seems decent for Bajaj. I've tried other EVs that get hot as hell when parked in direct sunlight, but the battery doesn't get nearly as hot.
-
Can we rely on the Chetak 2903 TecPac's battery in extreme Indian weather conditions?
14 January 2025 11:08It’s still a question mark as to long term degradation. After 18 months mine’s still holding up well, but I’m curious to see how it does after 3-4 years.
-
Is TecPac’s Chetak 2903 retro design a hit or miss?
14 January 2025 11:08The retro design is brilliant I think. It's not a generic looking EV, and it has a cool vintage vibe. It'll also appeal to the nostalgic older riders and hipster youngsters.
-
Is TecPac’s Chetak 2903 retro design a hit or miss?
14 January 2025 11:08I’m starting to like the retro styling. I first thought it was too old school, but I actually love how it combines old and new. It’s not over the top, but it’s unique.
-
Is the Chetak 2903 TecPac's range anxiety making it impractical for Indian cities?
14 January 2025 11:08It's definitely close. In cities like Mumbai or Bangalore, traffic is brutal and you’ll be worried about running out of juice all the time. At least 150-200 km range I'd feel more comfortable with.
-
Given the feature & brand value, is price of Chetak 2903 TecPac justifiable?
14 January 2025 11:08When you take into account the quality of the build and brand reliability, you get a fair price. A cheaper option would be just money saver upfront while Bajaj's service network and access to spares might make you fork out more on all.
-
How does the Chetak 2903 compare in extreme weather conditions?
14 January 2025 11:03I’ve ridden my Chetak through a Delhi summer and it fared pretty good. But the range does suffer a bit when it's really hot, though not quite as much as I thought it would. It looks like the cooling system does its job.
-
How user friendly is the app and connected features of the Chetak 2903?
14 January 2025 11:03When it works, the app is pretty slick. It’s great to be able to see my battery status and plan my rides with that in mind. It’s got a nice security touch with the geofencing feature.
-
What is the experience of maintenance and service of Chetak 2903 compared to other scooters?
14 January 2025 11:03Great lack of regular maintenance, but I’m worried about long term costs. You also don't really have to think about battery replacement down the line, which isn't going to be cheap, and you don't really have to think about that with petrol scooters.
