Features and Design
Flame sports a new design and embraces the contemporary black theme. Flame borrows the headlamp, front fender, attractive rear view mirrors, body coloured shock absorber springs and special engine cowl from its big brother apache. Flame is packed with exciting features like attractive body graphics, alloy wheels, disc brake at the front, electric start and handle bar weights to control vibrations. Ithas been designed to capture attention in one go. The bike has been given a contemporary urban look by having a black theme. Much of its features like headlamp, front fender, attractive rear view mirrors, body colored shock absorber springs and special engine cowl are designed like the Apache.

Engine
The Flame is technologically the most advanced motorcycle in the country with a 3-valve 125cc engine and sports the india’s first three-valve CC VTi (controlled combustion variable timing intelligent) engine. The engine’s produces maximum power of 10.5 bhp at 8,250 rpm. TVS has patented the CC-VTi technology in Austria and rest of the world. It has sporty deltaedge exhaust that is not just a styling element but also to deliver the smoothest of sounds, lowest emissions and excellent performance.

The engine has two different in take ports, swirl and power port. A swirl motion is created of the intake air-fuel mixture in the combustion chamber, which leads to efficient burning of lean air-fuel mixture and helps improve the bike’s fuel efficiency. The power port opens to allow a high flow rate of the air-fuel mixture to deliver high power in the power throttle mode. The bike gives a mileage of around 65 km/l on road and performs quite well in heavy traffic conditions.

Instrumentation & Features
It features an analogue speedometer but other gauges such odometer, digital clock, fuel gauge, mileage meter are embedded in the digital console. The sporty deltaedge exhaust is not just styling element but also to deliver the smoothest of sounds, lowest emissions and excellent performance. also sports a neat lockable, water-bottle-sized cubby hole ahead of the tank, which will prove really useful in daily use. The plastic tank adornments incorporate the indicators and complete the look, but they have their own utility value too.

TVS FLAME

At last i got the bike.

Looks : Super Looks specially after i went to the sticker shop - it is an mould of all the bikes like the front scoop as like Apache , Back rail like Xtreme , and Tank body like Hunk , The tank fitted indicators are great.

Engine : Engine looks bigger than an usual 125 CC bike - Nice smoother sound but little bit sound varies after going beyond 50KM.

Gear shifting : It is same as of the Hero Honda Splendour - Nice - Shifting - SMoother though.

Handle bar : The handle bar looks a little big - and it is due to the reason that the handle bar should not touch the big body of the tank it is made huge. the Switches are not strong enoough they all looks very light as if of an TOY switches - the Electric start is not very strong enough and the Horn is one of the Craziest thing - it sounds like an ICE CREAM AUto Horn.

Lights and indicators : No Probs in this section everything is superb. and the The digital meter is superb the only bike which i saw with and integrated digital clock in it.

Advantages : As of now it is giving 68KMPL.
Clock in the Digital Meter - great advantage for me.
Lockable Tools storage space in the tank itself - front of the Petrol Filler.
Bright Tail L.E.D Lamps.
Weightless Bike - Looks like and 150KG - But actually 99KG.
Helmet Holder at near the Back seat and toolkit space even under the seat.
Fully Black alloyed engine - Nice looks.

Disdvantages: Low Capacity of tank : 8 Litres.
No Fuel tap available to lock the petrol flow (No Reserve or ON - automatic)
Engine guard provided by TVS - not capable to stop water thrashing in engine.
The Locker in Tank is notsecurable as the lock is eary to Break and lock is
also with the Side lock that too in the main Lock eveything is integrated.
The Handle Bar is too Big - and cannot be cutted or modified the Body
is very bulk and Big we cannot change the handle bar
Useless Horn Provided - Caanot even compare to TVS - 50 Horns.

Conclusion : Despite of all disdvantages - Style and looks of Flame will definetely BURNOUT
all the Bike Lovers - and it is for sure that flame is going to rock the roads soon
as im doing - and it is an higher end Bike for just RS:45.000 Bucks.
Let us wait and wath whether Bajaj XCD can Exceed
else TVS flame will blow the fire - in the 125CC WAR.
