Bajaj Platina 100cc was introduced in the year 2006 and is based on CT-100. The bike was introduced into the markets as the cheapest bike of its segment that competed with Hero Honda. On introduction of the bike the company expected a sale of 75,000-80,000 units per month. Bajaj Platina has the four-stroke engine having a single cylinder and capacity of the engine is 99.27cc engine.

The engine power reaches the highest to 8.2bhp at 7500rpm and torque to the engine is 0.82kgm at 4500rpm.The bike is equipped with ExhausTEC technology that is Torque Expansion Chamber for the exhaust system. ExhausTEC helps enhanced torque at low revolutions without affecting the performance in Torque in case of high or medium revolutions.

Bajaj Platina comes in platinum silver colour with dazzling chrome graphics. It has unique streak designed side panels and optoprism headlens with clear lens blinkers. Platina's levers, grips, mirrors and switchgear are of the finest quality, and add to its exquisiteness.
