Mahindra Flyte Review

Mahindra Forays Into 2 Wheeler Market With Flyte

Thursday, August 30, 2012

Mahindra’s foray into the market for two-wheelers kicks off with the Mahindra Flyte, pitched as a quick, lightweight scooter that attempts to challenge Honda’s dominance of the market.

Mahindra Flyte Exterior

Mahindra Flyte's body is designed to look speedy, modern and versatile - and it’s pretty successful. The impact-resistant mirrors, made in the body color, are smart and quite distinctive looking, and are complimented by the bike’s bright, horn-rimmed headlamps. The body graphics on the body’s side and front cowl are bold and eye-catching in all of the shades. It borrows the shape of its front mask from the sibling model Rodeo, while the rest of its front face is in a grey shade that adds a nice accent to the main body color. The tail light and rear design are simply shaped but look attractive and quite sophisticated. In many ways, it strongly resembles competitors such as the TVS Scooty – it’s a strong design, but not particularly ground-breaking.

Instrument Console of Mahindra Flyte

The instrument console is standard for a scooter of this kind, with no stand-out features. It is a broad, well-sized console with white background illumination that makes it easy to view in low light. As is to be expected, all of the gauges are analogue, but the fuel gauge and accelerometer are clear and easy to read, and are accompanied by a well-shaped low fuel and low battery indicator.

I own Flyte, driving since 2 yrs. Not faced any problems, but the major thing is mileage. I am unable to correctly monitor the mileage as i need to top up the tank very frequently even though i ride 10 km a day (max). My advice better go for any other make.

Mahindra people are cheating people with giving advertisement.. I would request Kareena not to endorse the Mahindra 2 wheeler, or she would loose the respect. Mahindra now owners should start aandholan of No buy Mahindra.. Kareena think before you endorse any thing..

The worst producer of the 2 wheeler are Mahindra.. please do not buy the bike from them. Service is totally worst and vehicle performance is pathetic. do not go by the verdict of few if they are telling its ok... better you buy some other vehiclle.. I tried to reach the customer care and they are least bother to respond to my mail. Final verdict, Mahindra sucks.

Aapka Mahindra flyte model jabse liya hai tabse pareshan ho gaye hain. petrol to jese badi car me dalte hai vese dalna padta hai. citymeto shayad 25 km. everage aati hogi. most third class vehical. hamto ise bechengebhi nahi kyonki bichara koi aur is mode ko purchase karne k bad petrol dal dal k barbad ho jayega. everyday koi nayi problem hoti rahti hain. kya kare aur kise kahe? dealerne to koi possitive responce aaj tak nahi diya. kya aap kuchh kar shakte hai?

Mene 2010 me Mahindra flyte liyatha, jinki everage maximum 35 km. aati hain. Mene Anand ( Gujarat ) showroom se purchase kiyatha. Hum bilkul santust nahi hai Mahindra flyte se aur deler ki servic se. Service me kutch nahi karte, bas panika sprya mar k de dete hai esa lag raha hai. body ka baharka jo nut bolt bari bari nikal jata hain vo bhi thik tarahse fit nahi kar sakte hai vo log. Ham to aapki ye product ke khilaf hi dostoko review share karte hain.

Pick up is amazing, good vehicle for ladies as it is light in weight and shorter in height. However fuel economy is around 35 KM/ltr and have electric wiring problems. My Flyte's headlight bulb (lower one) has fused at least 6 times in last 2 years forcing me to drive with upper light ON. Recently it has started giving self starting trouble and I have to kick start it everytime which is really frustrating.

I own Mahindra flyte, bought it only two months back and I am facing lot of troubles and fuel economy is too worst of Mahindra two wheeler (FLYTE), The bike is most worst in rainy season. it stops many times by the time I drive 5Kms, I need to start it more often and at last need to reach there. My sincere suggestion and request do not buy FLYTE better go for Hero Honda pleasure or Honda Activa. Attention every body : Don't thing to buy FYLTE !!!!!

If you are looking for a mileage this is not a scooter you would want to take, with in 6 months it stopped performing inspite of regular service...I gave on service as well these days due to frustration...it can give consistently 25KMPL.

I like its power but not without paying high cost!
