Mahindra Forays Into 2 Wheeler Market With Flyte

Mahindra & Mahindra has launched Mahindra SYM Flyte, its first two wheeler in scooterette segment in Indian market. Flyte is aimed to target the college going girls with its stylish look and easier riding capacity. Mahindra SYM Flyte comes with a 125cc engine with automoatic transmission gearbox that offers easier handling and high performance. Mahindra Flyte offers largest storage space in comparison to any other scooter in its segment.
It resembles TVS scooty pep plus and Bajaj kristal in many sense - headlamps and elliptical indicators on steeply raked aprons are its signs. Body coloured rear view mirrors are not just styling elements, impact resistant mirrors fold in case of impact. Flyte doesn’t looks heavy as activa it looks friendly, the tail lamp is simple and attractive. Panel gaps are minimal and flyte make use of high quality plastic. The only drawback is the painting and graphics which fails to charm. Mahindra Sym flyte’s 125cc engine generates output of 8bhp at 7000rpm and 9.1Nm at 5500rpm slightly lesser than the suzuki’s 125cc scooter access.
The pick up is smooth and the torque is good enough for city commuting. Flyte reaches 70kmph with ease. The attractive features of Flyte are its front fuelling system so no need to stand and keep up seat to re-fuel the vehicle, four in one anti-theft key and telescopic suspension that reduces the jerks and offers smooth riding.
