USER OPINION

Our take on this /// Verdict
The Mahindra Stallio ES is a mixed bag when it comes to its overall performance and features. On the positive side, it boasts a high-performance 110cc engine that is capable of delivering decent power and torque, making it suitable for navigating city roads. The bike also features a stylish design with elements like futuristic LED tail lamps, a contemporary visor, and multi-reflector headlamps, which enhance its visual appeal. However, the bike falls short in terms of braking performance, with the 130mm drum brakes at both the front and rear lacking the necessary bite and feel. Additionally, the suspension, while adequate for city riding, can feel choppy on rough roads. Overall, the Stallio ES is a good option for those looking for a stylish and performance-oriented commuter bike, but it may not be the best choice for those prioritizing braking performance and ride comfort.
Price
The Mahindra Stallio ES was priced competitively in the Indian market, although it is no longer in production. At the time of its launch, the ex-showroom price was around 41,199. When considering the on-road price, which includes additional costs such as registration, insurance, and other taxes, the total would have been approximately 50,000 to 55,000, depending on the state and local taxes. Given its features and performance, the pricing was reasonable, making it an attractive option for budget-conscious buyers looking for a reliable commuter bike.
Mileage
Tuesday, 19 November 2024 03:20 PM The Mahindra Stallio ES offers decent mileage, which is a crucial factor for Indian buyers. According to specifications, the bike provides a city mileage of around 60 km per litre and a highway mileage of about 65 km per litre. This makes it a fuel-efficient option, especially for daily commuters who need to navigate through congested city roads. The mileage is competitive with other bikes in its segment, making it a viable choice for those concerned about running costs.

Mahindra Stallio does not fit in the 110cc segment bike. It lacks in various aspects.

1. Engine Performance: Its Max. Power is 7Bhp and Max. Torque is 8Nm whereas Honda CB Twister Max.Power – 9Bhp and Max. Torque- 9Nm.

Most of 110cc bike has about Max. Power 8Bhp and max. Torque 8Nm. Even some of  100cc bike has Max. Torque 8Nm and Max. Power 8Bhp.  Actually most of 100cc and 110cc bike has more Max. Torque and more Max. Power than Mahindra Stallio. As a result Mahindra Stallio has very poor pick up  and very poor load capacity than other 100cc and 110cc bike. Its engine quality is not so good. This type of engine may give performance only for 6 months  or maximum one year.

2. Looks: It  looks  very ordinary compare to others; specially Honda CB Twister is so good looking that anybody feel inferior complex owing Stallio in front of  Twister. Mahindra Stallio seat is vey bad quality and make anyone feel bum pain and due to its defecting design, long time ride causes back pain.

3.Mileage: As its performance is low, so it should give high mileage but mileage is not so as expected. Other 110cc with high performance gives same mileage or higher mileage. And also 100cc bike which is more powerful than Stallio gives extraordinary mileage compare to Stallio.

4.It has no disc brake option and drum brake can not give the proper performance on road and safety is hampered.

5. Its weight is too much for its engine which has only 7bhp power and 8Nm Torque. That’s why the bike is very slow in 100cc and 110cc segment.

6. On bumpy road it is very difficult to ride this bike as its suspension is not so perfect and it vibrates a lot from very low speed.

Actually Mahindra Stallio is very disappointing bike and it is highly priced if quality is concerned.

Compared to other 100cc bikes this looks great in design... But the only problem is, this is the first bike from Mahindra and we don't know how good they are in customer service and maintenance of bikes in the future...

I don't know why mahindra has launched Stallio, it lacks in looks. HH & Bajaj bikes looks much better than this bike.
