Honda PCX 125 Review
Quick Review by Maxabout Team
Honda has always been the king of scooter segment in India from nearly a decade and showing its powerful approach for the same, it brings the PCX series to be tested in India. The PCX-150 has been confirmed for India and the 125 cc variant has been given no word till date. Both the scooters look identical with a small number of technical differences between them.
The design and style of the PCX-125 is same as that of the 150 cc offering. The scooter is really different from all the other 125 cc offerings currently being offered in India. The scooter gives the real definition of beauty's combination with the beast. The best part of the scooter is its sharp and curvy body design, making it a head turner for sure.
The 124.9 cc engine on the PCX-125 produces 11.17 BHP @ 8000 rpm and 11.56 NM @ 6000 rpm. The 4-stroke, liquid cooled engine is very refined and comes with a much smoother automatic transmission. The fuel tank is 6.2 litres only, making it a city friendly ride. The 124.40 kg of weight makes it a heavy ride, but the 761 mm of seat height makes it easy to handle and ride.
The PCX-125 comes equipped with a 220 mm hydraulic disc brake for the front and a 130 mm drum brake for the rear. The braking dynamics are fulfilled by 90/90 and 100/90 tyre for the front and rear respectively. The 14 inch tyres on the PCX-125 make it a pleasurable machine on bumpy roads also. The front of the PCX-125 uses 31 mm telescopic forks whereas the rear uses twin aluminum swing-arm as the suspension.
The PCX-125 is available in Red, White, Silver and Black shade and is expected with a price tag of INR 70,000 if ever launched.
