Vehicle Overview Hero Hunk is a 150cc commuter sport motorcycle that has been in the market since quite long. It received a minor facelift and due to its less than expected sales, it can be discontinued if a new 150cc series of motorcycles is planned by the company. It is powered by a 149.2cc engine producing 15.6 BHP and 13.5 Nm of torque. The high 146 kg of weight and a conventional 5-speed gearbox makes it good for just 112 kmph of top speed. The Hero Hunk 150 gets 240 mm disc brakes at the front and a 220 mm disc brake at the rear. Best Bike on the Road

Best bike that you can buy on Indian roads. Good build quality, comfortable, best for city roads as well as for highways and long trips. I have travelled from Delhi to Jaipur, Delhi to Himachal Pradesh, Delhi to Utttranchal all long trips if more than 2000km, each, on this bike without any problems.

Best Features: Comfortable, reliability

Pros: Smooth engine, reliability, powerful, comfortable in city ride as well as good on long highways.

Cons: 250cc version should be made

About Performance of Hero Hunk 150

Suspension of hunk is very poor, so from my side I wish to suggest to hero moto corp to improve its suspension quality. It has very good look , its look like fully sport bike but as it look , its don't have that much of suspension. Also it has low mileage at high speed on highways.

Best Features: LEDs, look.

Pros: I like its look.

Cons: Its suspension is very bad, its of low quality

Best Choice of My Life

I bought Hunk because of its price and mileage. Mileage was one of the most important factor for me before buying any bike. Along with this quality, Hunk also has smooth engine with adequate power in its segment and its detailed design make it stand in a crowd. In the terms of weight, it is not heavy to handle, I never face any problem in heavy traffic. Initially, it might give you poor performance but wait for 3000km you will see change yourself.

Best Features: Ease of Use and Mileage

Pros: Muscular Looks, Handling, Smooth Engine and its Performance.

Cons: No kick, Lack of enough storage

My Stylish Dream Bike

sanjeev dixit | 7 years ago

It is a stylish bike which is perfectly decorated with an attractive graphics. It has a fuel tank of 12.4 litres along with 2.2 litres reserve capacity which ensures better fuel economy. The seating position is comfortable and has good knee support. The alloy grab rail at rear is also present in which 2 adults can travel without any issue in both city and highway roads. It offers good acceleration and pickup i.e. it can accelerate from 0-60 kmph in just 5.08 seconds. Coming to the downside, It weighs at 147 kg which is quite bulky. Sometimes at a higher speed it produces vibrations. There is no engine kill switch in the bike. The tyres are not so wide which is also a negative point of this bike.

Best Features: Good Acceleration & Smooth Engine

Pros: Muscular looks, smooth engine, handling, good acceleration, pickup

Cons: No engine kill switch, Inadequate storage space, heavy

If you kept our bike at out side at petrol pumps, road sides, parking places some party workers /antisocial elements/basterds are distubing the bikes to make inconvinence to the bike owners and make him angry on manufactures of should be condemned by all bike workers who have no basterd mentalities.

When I was planning to buy a bike
I thought of many bikes
Like
Hero hunk
Honda unicorn 160
Tvs apache 160
Hero Xtreme
I wanted a bike with good handling,Looks, pickup, good for long rides and most concern was moleage.
Honda unicorn 160-the bike is known for its reliability handling and mileage .
I didn't liked its full digital console the bike was very smooth and every thing was good. I didn't liked the looks of new.hunk was better in looks according to me so I didn't bought it
TVs apache - I liked the handling of the bike and the pickup was very good but there was vibration in handle. Due to the sporty riding position it cant be rode for long drives and vibration will also irritate .
Hero Xtreme- the bike was very good everything was good accept the small tank and the analog digital console looked wired to me.
Hero hunk- I rode this bike and found the handling was good and bike gave me a big bike feel and many people looked at me
So I bout it .
NOW MY REVIEW ABOUT MY BIKE
The bike is very smooth no problems in riding the bike
The bike handling is very light it doesn't feels that u are riding a bike of 145kg The big tank of bike gives a muscular look, many people on the road look at my bike which makes me feel proud
Brakes of the bike very good I have a single disk variant no problem with the brakes
The pickup of the bike is very good
Throttle response is immediate which is good
I have read many reviews that they are telling gears are hard to shift, but I didn't find that
The gears are very good I ride the bike at speed of 45-55kmph not more than that in city
I have not taken the bike on highway,I ride the bike continuously for 30mins I didn't find any pain in my hand or in my body
The tire grip is too good on the roads
Best part of the bike is it's suspension they are very soft and well tuned also u will never feel any pain on your back during riding in bumpy roads rather u will enjoy riding their.
The million dollar question
Mileage kitna deti h
I ride it smoothly and I get a mileage of 52-54 kmpl
What else u need in a bike
Good performance, looks, good engine sound, mileage, reliable engine which will last long

Hero Hunk is one of the fortunate bikes of Hero which features a digital speedometer and trip meter.
Its orange coloured console with chrome surroundings appears really
funky at night. It has a big circular pod for its analogue tachometer
and also features an analogue fuel gauge on its left side. Other
indicators are placed on its chrome ring.

RAVI YOU R RIGHT ITS A HEAVY BIKE BUT IT GIVES U A BEST CONTROL I HAVE 2 HUNKS AND CBR250 ALSO BUT I GOT PLEASURE TO RIDE OVER HUNK U CAN MAKE IT DANCE ON UR FINGER U CAN ENJOY UR JOURNEY UPTO 150 KMS WITHOUT ANY TYPE OF BACKPAIN AND MOREOVER IN 150 CC BIKES IT IS IN TOP INCASE OF MILAGE DEPEND ON UR RIDE EASILY UPTO 50-55 AND ON DRIVING ROUGHLY IT DONT GIVE YOU BELOW 40 AT ANY COST AND 15BHP ENGINE WID 14NM TORQUE GIVES U SMOOTH RIDE AND PERFECT STROKE AND THE REASON THAT IT IS NOT IN A GR8 NUMBER IN ROAD IS ITS WEIGHT BUT IN COMPARISION TO OTHER BIKES IT GIVES U BEST CONTROL AND IT IS NOT TOO COSTLY

hero honda new hunk is one of d best bikes in 150cc category..pros-stunning looks(both black & red),good pick up(0-60kmph in just 4.9 s),good grip on road even at 100kmph,digital speedometer..cons-average mileage (38 to 45 kmpl),heavy weight(146kg)..It's obviously a gr8 bike than pulsar 150..

Hi friends, I am planning to buy this bike but I got comments that this bike is too heavy compare to other 150CC bikes because of it, mileage will be reduced. Also engine is not good. Guys, please let me know whether it is correct or not? Is it heavy to ride? Mileage? Engine? All over performance? Also, I have observed that we do not see too many Hunks on road? Why? what is the reason for it? If it not a good bike how about CBZ Extreme?

not a good bike bought it & have to sold it that too just in six drinks petrol heavily mileage is just 28-43kmpl depends how u drive its engine is also not tough started giving out smoke at hav bought p150dtsi 2011 recent version 2 months back p150 is far far better than this bike its mileage pick-up & durability is simply awesome p150dtsi ROKZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

i have pulsar 150 2009 model. After completing 28000 kms its engine started giving smoke. I war surprised that 2007 model of pulsar 150 was better than the new one. Now i bought new hunk 2011 model on october. It's mileage is exactly 50 kmpl on city roads. So i recommend you don't go for pulsar 150. You can go for new hunk it is better than new pulsar 2009 but not 2007.
