Monday, January 16, 2012Monster 795 is the most affordable Ducati bike till date and has been specially developed for Asian markets like India. It was launched the Auto Expo 2012 in New Delhi. The price announced at the time of launch was 6.99 lakh rupees but due to overwhelming response the company decided to slash the price by 1 lakh rupees the very next day!! (only for first 300 customers). It is expected that Ducati Monster 795 will sell in good numbers and will be one of the best-selling Ducatis in India. It is powered by a 803cc twin-cylinder engine which generates maximum power of 87 bhp at 8250 rpm with maximum torque of 78 nm at 6250 rpm. The engine is mated to 6-speed manual transmission and the bike features casted aluminium subframe. Monster 795 is available in three shades -
