The street fighter competed against Kawasaki Z800 and Triumph Bonneville range in the Indian market.Ducati Monster 821 is an entry level street bike in Ducati lineup, carrying a powerful 821cc, L-Twin engine. The same is good for 109 HP and produces 86 Nm of maximum torque. It offers an adjustable seat height of 785 to 810 mm, making it easy to ride for riders with short height. The claimed top speed is 225 kmph, making it better than many other bikes priced around its segment. It rivals Kawasaki Z900 and Suzuki GSX-S750 in the Indian market. The upcoming rival for this elegant street bike is KTM 790 Duke.
