Bajaj User Reviews - Page 8

When I planned to purchase a new bike, I shortlisted some best bikes available in the market. 1. Apache RTR 160 (Double Disk) 2. Pulsar DTS-i 150 3. Trigger 150 (Double Disk) 4. FZS V2.0. These all bikes are best in their class. I want to purchase a bike which should be good in city mileage, with great comfort and in a medium price range. After a long research I found that Pulsar is the only bike which can provide me these features in a good price range. So let's look about the features of Pulsar 150 DTS-i. Pros: 1. COMFORT - The sitting position of this bike too good and its suspension is also good as it work good on bad roads and off road. 3. HANDLING - Bajaj has improved the handling in this bike which make this bike in great control in market ride and good stability on high speed. 4. ENGINE- The new pulsar has a improved engine than the old one. The sound feels good. RATING:- Design and Style- 8/10 Instrument Console- 8.5/10 Engine & Performance- 8.5/10 Comfort while Riding- 9/10 Mileage- 9/10 Brakes and Suspension- 9/10 Ride and handling- 9/10 Price- 8/10

My father is using Bajaj Chetak from last 15 years and I also use it occasionaly to drop my sister to the school. Our Chetak's condition is very good as my father take very good care of it. We took it for repairing in 2005 for the first time as with the time its engine get weak and its mileage also dropped. Before repairing, I used to get decent mileage of about 36 km/ltr which later dropped to 25-28 km/ltr. After service, our Chetak became new and its mileage figure also improved at 38kmpl. Apart from that, it carries two adults and two kids very comfortably. As I used to stand in front and my sister and mother fits very comfortably at pillion seat. It also have storage space to accommodate documents and small stuff. For me and my family, Bajaj Chetak is the best two-wheeler and if it come again with some tweaks we will surely by one again.

Pros: Comfortable, Storage Space, Good Handling, Price

I purchased this bike in 2011. completed 4 yrs and still in love with it. The most comfortable bike to ride on. Light weight makes it easy to get through traffic. Although max speed mentioned is 110 I could actually reach up to 123km/ph and with the control. Simply love it.

Best Features: Looks, style and comfort while riding

Pros: Comfort and light weight design.

Cons: Pillion seat is little slanted, makes the pillion to bump on the rider

It's one of the awesome bikes in a 200cc segment. The tyres will tend to slip a bit if you are a harsh driver and brake hard at high speeds. Vibration is a serious problem Mileage is kinda OK. It's good for city rides.

Best Features: The lights are great, the fat tyre makes it a eye grabber, comfortable seating position.

Pros: The pick up, the mileage, the seat comfort are all perfect.

Cons: Only thing which is not so good is that it vibrates a lot.

It is my 2nd bike. My first bike was a yamaha fzs. 200ns is more comfortable and powerful. It also has a decent milage of 38KMPL. But it doesn't have good tyres & brakes like fzs. I have mrf tyres on my 200ns, but they are also slippery. There are lot of little vibes on 200ns at low rpm which were absent in fzs. But past 4000 rpm it even puts yamaha to shame. 200NS is a great bike. I like it more than my fzs. It is complete bang for money. It is like a affordable miniature version of ducati monster. I love my 200ns.

Best Features: Instrument cluster and the handlebars

Pros: Comfort , performance, pickup, handling

Cons: Lack of abs, slippery mrf tyres, too noisy

Hi, I own pulsar 200 AS and I like it completely but if anybody can tell? That why does it vibrates so much and does not give pick up on second gear, is it the engine issue or it can be fixed? Please comment who knows about it...

Best Features: Looks and looks so far, still testing what's new to give 5 ratings to my bike

Pros: I really like the way it is designed::)

Cons: What I dislike is that the rear look from behind, it should have been designed exactly that 200 NS looks has

Wonderful bike to own, no doubt about it, good to ride on highways and decent roads but you could have issues on roads with big speed breakers Braking is excellent, Top speed - 140 kmph, Mileage - I never bothered to notice but mostly would be around 40 kmpl, probably the finest pulsar yet.

Bajaj Pulsar 200NS is all new in terms of design, styling and technology. Bajaj has tried to improve it technically. No doubt, the company has succeeded to fulfill customer's needs in the form of Bajaj Pulsar 200 NS. One of my close friends has bought this naked sports bike last year. The cost for this amazing bike is also justified. It is not much expensive if we take into consideration all the features offered by the company. Engine performance is also outstanding. There is a problem in 6th gear. Even for regular speed of 45 - 50 kmph you need to shift to 6th gear. On the other hand, heavy weight is other problematic area of this bike. You can only move this bike by riding it or with its engine power. The best part of this bike is that you will never be scared of big holes or bad road conditions thanks to its improved build that gives you the confidence to ride frankly. Definitely, I would like to say that it stands apart from any other Indian bike in market.

My relation with Avenger 220 is two months old only. From the day I bring it home, it has been a wow moment for me and my friends. The style of the bike conveyed me so many compliments. To be honest, its a wonderful bike that need to be handled efficiently. It is not for a beginners. The chrome plating needs to be taken care off. Balancing has never been a problem of my bike. I have never experienced fatigue after driving for almost the entire stretch of 130 km at one go. It is only because of its well cushioned rider and passenger seat with back rest. The pillion sometimes create problem for my 6-ft friend as he could not fit himself within the seat because of back rest. At times I take it to the roads with potholes or humps, I never feel discomfort but with a pillion its bottom hits ground sometime. Overall, its a smooth motorcycle with good pickup and average mileage. If you have passion to ride something different. Go for it.

Best Features: Style, Comfort and Ride Quality

Pros: Excellent ride quality, Handling, Seat comfort, Style, Soothing sound

Cons: Low ground clearance, Back rest (problem for well built person)

I purchased my Pulsar in February 2015. It is different from other Pulsar or we can say it has its own style and looks. The riding position is comfortable with slightly slant riding posture. In beginning, I felt pain in my wrist and back because of its posture but now I m used to it. The pillion seat is a bit uncomfortable, So I avoid long journeys. While on the braking and performance matters, there is no question. It returns 60 kmpl mileage too. Overall, I can say its a good options for performance lovers but if your are looking for commuting bike, you are at wrong place brother.

Best Features: Looks and Performance

Pros: Awesome Design, Front Disc Brake, Powerful Engine

Cons: Seating Posture, Uncomfortable Pillion Seat

Recently one of my friend has purchased Avenger 220, the look of the bike speaks it all, its just look like you are riding a Harley Davidson. The comfort, looks and efficiency which this motorcycle gives is quite similar to Harley Davidson. It is quite affordable as compared to Royal Enfield Thunderbird. It offers in similar performance but costs much less. This bike is not for beginners, it needs to be handled efficiently. It has a solid muscular looks. The large fuel tank confirms that you don't need to visit petrol pump frequently. The driver seat is very comfortable which makes the perfect sitting posture. If we look at its downsides, than we come to know that the build quality of this bike is not so good and, so are the rear brakes. The horn is not so noticeable in traffic which creates problem a lot.

Best Features: Stylish & Comfortable

Pros: Large fuel tank, comfortable for rider and pillion, stylish, powerful engine

Cons: Build quality, weak rear brakes, low powered horn

I own a black Bajaj Pulsar 135 LS. It is undoubtedly a stylish bike which is the most agile Pulsar variant from Bajaj. I have a attained a top speed of 107 km/hr and it offered amazing control and confident ride. It has good control in traffic and I have done many long trips on highways and the motorcycle remained stable. The seating position is pretty much upright and I find it perfect for city commute. The pillion seat is also very comfortable, none of my friends who have sat behind me ever complained about any backache. One minor complaint I have is regarding the smaller fuel tank. Otherwise, it is an economic, powerful and stylish fighter with good features and specifications.

Best Features: Powerful Engine & Handling

Pros: Good value for money, mileage, handling, build quality, smooth gear shifting, powerful engine

Cons: Smaller fuel tank

The Bajaj Pulsar RS200 packs a ergonomic frugality, nice punch and a decent amount of features. It is beautifully designed and the pickup is quite impressive. The large front of bike encases the entire engine. The front lights are LED with beautiful projectors. It has tubeless tyres which is quite helpful at the time of puncture. I mean to say in that condition you can also run it. It has double disc brakes and alloy wheels which provides the motorcycle more stability. It gives me awesome riding experience because the riding position is quite sporty. Brakes are powerful and more so with the rear brake. The first drawback of this bike is that it is very heavy and another is that it has a 13 litres fuel tank which is not so good. It gives me a mileage of 30 to 35 kmpl which is not satisfactory.

Best Features: Looks & Economical

Pros: Looks, powerful engine, efficient braking system, comfortable riding position, economical

Cons: Heavy, mileage
