I purchased V15 on April 8th 2016 at Sri Siddi Vinayaka Showroom, Begumpet, Hyderabad. For the first two days it was fine and then started showing the list of problems in it 1) Poor Pickup - On any gear it doesn't feel like a 150cc bike (not even close to a 110cc bike) 2) Gear Shifting Problem - sometimes gears doesn't shift well and they make disgusting noise when changing. 3) Exhaust Sound (Beating) - The beating which is there for the initial two days is completely changed and now it sounds like a bike which is 5 years old. Completed disgusting and annoying. It is not the original beating like when it was new. 4) Engine - Every time when you raise the bike on any gear there seems to be a annoying sound from the engine which is not so audible (you have to observe it carefully). I can easily say that this engine not for long lasting. Hardly it will last for two years. 5) Mileage - One of the worst problem I am facing now. Can you believe a 150cc bike which has no proper power, no performance just like the other 150cc bikes but still it is not giving a mileage of 40 KMPL. As of now the mileage is below 40. 6) Pillion seat - When you remove the rear seat cowl and sit on it while some one is riding, you can easily slip back and may fall down. Not at all comfortable for the pillion 7) Side indicator's doesn't make sound when they are in use, just like the other bikes. Then just simply blink. 8) Fuel gauge - The digital fuel gauge which is completely useless , sometimes it shows four points and the very next minute they reduce to two points. 9) Service - The showroom guys are completely reckless and irresponsible. I have explained all the above to them with in one week (15th April 2016) but they are not answering to any of the question properly. They simply say "Go to service center" or "Wait for the first service, initially the bike will be like this only".
Best Features: Nothing but styling
Pros: Style and looks
Cons: Everything
Hello everyone.. am Saurabh frm lko.. this is d best bike at its price. or undr 1 lakh. on performance.. i hv driven 5000 km. bike is giving 50 average.. evn on regular speed btwn 70- 95 km. nd its true.. on highway.. nd in city at speed 50-70. top speed i gained is 133km/hr. bike remains smooth till end... thing is that.. wht matters hw u keep ur bike.. i driven safely till run in period.. 1500km nt above 60 till 500km... nd so on.. regular checked bike... lubed chain at evry 500km.. nd cleaned at 800km around. problm faced ws vibe frm digital console due to resonance.. at 35-45 speed. thts it.. bike was rough a bit till 1000 then it got smoother.. lights are awesome.!! I jst wnt to say take care of bike... drive fast is u want.. dnt "Rash" drive.. it will ruin any bike engine... hv good throttle control.. if u r drive at 90km/hr nd u knw u hv to slow down d bike bcz f traffic... jst release d throttle that early tht u dnt hv to use break!! nd it get slow automatically.. more u use brake!! less u r skilled.. nd less ur engine life. bike pulsar as 150 is awsome.. it gives u both speed nd average!! bye frndz... any proof u wnt... meet me!!
Best Features: Average.. style.. top speed at its price!! lights!! se*y digital console
Pros: Looks!! average!! features at its price!! silent sound !! top speed!!
Cons: Front slim tyre.. sound of vibration at digital console btwn 35 to 45 speed
I bought the Avenger 150 model last week. The bike as a whole is absolutely fantastic. I found the short pick-up to be a bit less, but that's not what you are looking for in this bike, & in no way that is a disadvantage. Comfort level, top notch .. balance, top notch. Also, the problem with a big turning radius owing to much wider handle-bar for the Cruise model has been largely taken care of in the Street models. In short, if you want to go for speed, you have the Pulsars .. for everything else, you have the Avengers.
Best Features: Suspension, comparatively lighter chassis, back wheel-base.
Pros: Power, comfort, balance.
Cons: Absence of kick.
I have a brand new pulsar 135cc and at 552 KM, I refilled the full tank fuel in my bike; that was just after 1st service and after 760KM again refilled for full tank and required fuel was 7.32 Liters; So mileage is 760-552=208KM and 208/7.32= 28KM per liter ;; is it a normal thing to get such a low mileage for a new engine. Also when I fully refilled my tank 1st time, Petrol pump boy filled 8.45 Liters even there was some fuel in reserve and bike was also running properly so there was around one liter in tank that time … is it possible ??????? OR That's a trick played by pump boy????
Best Features: Speed is upto 108kmph
Pros: Look and speed
Cons: Mileage is 28 KMPL
I am Suriya SJ from Tamil Nadu. I think this is much better idea for money lovers. The concept is good but the handle bar was not comfortable to turn faster. Sporty riders don't even thing about this bike. The model is new thinking by Bajaj. The bike is good in shifting gears but while we shift down the gear box is making some noise. I thing it's not a easy shift.... By the end the bike lovers love this Bajaj V concept.
Best Features: The model is looking good and metal usage is the new concept I love it...
Pros: Look is good, seat is new thinking..
Cons: Handle and speedometer
Bajaj has played safe by not giving it a round headlamp which this bike desperately needs being built in a cruise theme because the typical Indian mind-set is a bike with a big front end (specially fairing) is better than old looking round headlamp. I'm going to buy V15 and replace the headlamp fairing with a neat headlamp from a avenger...
Best Features: Fuel tank.. tail end
Pros: Design...... price, colours
Cons: Bikini fairing
One of the most awaited bike from Bajaj, fame from Vikrant. I am writing this review from the first test ride. The specifications, features are already listed, so i am just going to say what i found about the bike from the first ride. - Bike is more oriented for relaxed riders (city rides). Great Torque in all gears. I tried to pull the bike from 25km in fourth gear, no problem. Got the pull. Clutch feels very light. - Bike has new looks, little different from normal 150cc bikes we usually see on our Indian roads. - Seat height is little low, but has good comfort. Short riders feel more comfortable while riding. For taller riders I think the sitting position is low. - Brakes are good, front disk brakes worked good. Rear brakes are good for optimum breaking. As the bike I rode was new, tires had not much grip. So didn’t try with brakes too hard. - Riding position is good, not a tourer or sports. Just stiff sitting position. - Well the pillion seating is found good. But the support for the pillion rider does not feel secure, as the handle for holding is too small and not very appealing too. - Well some might think the bike is fully made of the metal taken from Vikrant ship. But come on this is a production version, only small bits of metal from ship is taken and mixed with regular metal. Overall bike is good looking, chrome bits look good.
Best Features: Torque, new design(150cc), Vikrant concept.
Pros: Looks, value for money, comfort.
Cons: Height of seat, build quality, design of speedometer was lame.
Totally very good. But only colour where I disappointed. Bike has amazing seat comfort and looks. While riding the bike really I feel like king.
Best Features: Seating Position
Pros: Amazing Looks
Cons: I expected more colours but only colour in Street 150 which makes me nervous
As for the looks it's a nice one, but the headlamp must be changed to round one, then it will look more stylish n great, it needs a rear disc brake, fuel tank design is nice, great tail lamps like some big bikes, engine is not worthy, the power is low, mileage as they mentioned is descent
Best Features: Fuel tank made of INS Vikrant, stylish look and logo
Pros: Design is good with great tail lamps, and big tyres
Cons: Change the headlamp into rounded one, engine power output is bad and need a rear disc brake
Looks are wonderful but I hated the engine, BHP .. not worthy. I was about to book this beast but I didn't like the engine performance and stepped back to purchase
Best Features: Looks are awesomely beautiful
Pros: I liked the looks and comfort. It's wonderful
Cons: Extremely low BHP and no initial charge.
I never liked Bajaj .....I stopped using Bajaj Bike or Scooters long time back with Bajaj Chetak ..... But when i heard about the Launching of Street 220 ..... waited for Street 220cc to launch; and after checking lots of reviews ..... On 11-03-2016 I Purchased Avenger Street 220 ..... I love the way it looks & everybody asks how much it costs whenever I'm driving. ..... Never bothered about mileage..... heard it gives unbelievable mileage. .....Comfort is amazing when compared to my previous bikes Honda (CBZ, Glamour FI and the latest Hornet) regular commuter bikes, Street 220cc engine is smoother when compare with other Bajaj bikes. what i preferred with the Street 220 are : ..... If the Bike is Fuel Injection Technology .. would have been great .....Street would have been best of all if equipped with Rear Disc. .....If the it has come good utility Box in it. .....Tubeless tires would have been a better option for the bike costs around 1lakh ..... ABS is another drawback Overall View : Inspite of all the above (My) requirements ..... once you sit on the bike and start to drive ...... i am sure the rider will enjoy the ride :)
Best Features: Matt Colouring and Premium looks
Pros: Premium Bike Feel
Cons: No ABS, tubeless tires and no utility box
I bought the bike about an year ago, now the bike is sounding very weird, disturbing rather, vibrates too much jerks and consumes too much fuel. The service man cannot fix the problem. Overall the worst bike in my life don't go for Bajaj, they are cheaters.
Best Features: Non it's shitty
Pros: Looks and styling
Cons: Performance
Riding comfort is one of the best....also I like back side styling of bike, 150 cc bike in 65000 is quite affordable... Bajaj V is like Mini Royal Enfield .....really best
Best Features: 1. Handle bar switches & Riding comfort is very nice
Pros: Entire styling looks
Cons: Back side grab handle is small
I'm Hi guys I am using this bike from a month but I am not happy with its mileage. It gives 25-30 kmpl and low ratio torque is creating problem at highway. If you want a good bike then best option is Apache or Pulsar 150 normal. This is wastage of money.
Best Features: Projecter headlamp and and seats
Pros: Bike look is good, head lamp is awesome and seat is comfortable to sit.
Cons: Poor mileage 30 kmpl and low ratio pickup and brakes must be better
