Bajaj User Reviews - Page 3
My Bajaj Wave is showing problems when I try starting the same through self start.
Best Features: Comfortable seating
Pros: performance
Cons: High noise when using self start
I have NS200 & it gives 37 kmpl in mixed condition. In my opinion, it is great bike & I love it.
Best Features: braking power
Pros: pickup & throttle response
Cons: little bit heavy but not a big problem & the turning radius
I have once changed the ABS sensor that came for 790. Now the disc cable from ABS unit to Disc drum is busted(they are two cables from hand caliper to ABS unit and then ABS unit to Disc drum ). They say this problem is reported by many users. Bajaj has given longer cables as when I turn the handlebar, it gets impacted with micro damages. It will cost me 1000+600(labor).
Best Features: FI, ABS is troublesome(sensor, disc cables)
Pros: control, responsiveness, looks, mileage
Cons: ABS model has Disc house cable problem, reported by many users
Mileage is important to all customers. Company says the mileage falls between 40-45 kmpl in city but when we ride it's just 32-35 only. It never crossed 38 kmpl on highway.
Best Features: Looks, Comfort
Pros: I love the looks
Cons: Mileage is a problem
Dominar satisfies the buyer mainly because of its comfort, then comes the rest. Main thing to note is that power and torque match is excellent. Then comes the mosaic styled headlights. Its touring ability and stress less drive mainly due to smoother gear shifts and slipper clutch is a boon in curving and heavy traffic. As everyone know we look more or consider negatives than positives to know the worth of a vehicle, the main negative is lack of gear indicator which indicates which gear you are in.I think it should be a must in 6 speed bikes. Mileage is not a big negative but its not good too and same about the looks. But the view from the rear gives you huge disappointment. But due to its price point and overall riding experience all its negative is neglected.
Best Features: Slipper clutch
Pros: comfort, due to slipper clutch, value for money, touring capability
Cons: mileage, due to huge variations between highway and city
It is a worst bike as I m using it from 2015. Electrical wiring is very poor. Headlight of my bike is not working due to poor wiring. All this happens within a year of purchase and only 8000 km. Even the handle switch bar, brake pad, clutch wire needs to be changed within 8000 km .my daily run was only 12 km per day.
Best Features: Power of the bike
Pros: Speed of the bike
Cons: Build quality is the worst
This bike was a true user friendly bike and was the last of the Kawasaki-Bajaj venture. I am using this model since 2011 and still it is running without any troubles with a average mileage of 37 kms in a hilly terrain of himachal and north east India. However, I must say bajaj is a worst company. They sell products but dint give any after sales service. Most service centers of bajaj dont have competant mechanics to handle bikes which are 5/10 years old. There is no supply of genuine spares now days and only things you can get is compatible one. So if major snags develop I feel there is no other way to scrap it. Although I decided I will keep this as a memento, as this was one companion which was with me during my struggling years!I am deeply grateful to wind 125 which has given me some beautiful memories of my life!
Best Features: Brake, light, 5 speed gear
Pros: Low cost, stardy and extremely rider friendly
Cons: Worst bajaj after sales service. As its the last venture of Kawasaki and Bajaj, they simply dont have any spares like bearings.
buy this bike you get good mileage, good performance, don"t waste money.other comments all fake.
Best Features: mileage.if you fill Rs100 petrol you drive about 75 km
Pros: good mileage,good looking,good performance,all are exellent
Cons: nothing all are good
1. NO SERVICE PERSON ACTUALLY COMPETENT TO PROVIDE THE ACTUAL DETAILS. 2. THE MANUAL PROVIDED IS OF V-15 INSTEAD OF V-12, SO ITS CONFUSING THE DETAILS, DOESN'T MATCH THE TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS FOUND ON THE VEHICLE. 3. THE BACKREST IS DESPERATELY MUST IT WHICH IS ABSENT. 4. AS OF SEAT DESIGN, THERE IS A BIG GAP BETWEEN SEAT AND THE BACKRAIL WHICH IS A DISCOMFORT. 5. FUEL GUAGE INDICATOR IS AFAULTY IT GIVES VARIABLE READING AT SLANT AND SLOPES. WHICH IS MISLEADING TO MEASURE THE FUEL IN THE TANK WHICH IS MISLEADING TO THE AVERAGE MEANS THE MILEAGE TRACKING. 6. THE PETROL COCK IS NOT EFFICIENT ONE. IT DOESN'T GIVES THE SIGNAL WHEN THE VEHICLE IS GONE TO THE RESERVED FUEL MODE. 7. THE REAR VIEW MIRROR IS NOT FOUND STABLE, IT CHANGES THE ANGLE AUTOMATICALLY. 8. ALSO IT GIVES A LOT OF SOUND IN GEAR SHIFTING (BOTH WAYS). 9. VIBRATIONS ARE MUCH MORE.
Best Features: THE LOOK IS AWESOME.
Pros: LOOKS, THE WAY IT STICK TO THE ROAD.
Cons: BACK SEAT DESIGN IS SLIGHTLY TILTED AND THE GRABRAIL PROVIDED IS VERY SHORT WHICH GIVES A DISCOMFORT. ITS NOT RECOMMENDABLE & ACCEPTABLE FROM BAJAJ FOR A FAMILY.
Its a really nice bike, i love it, it looks like Honda cb1000r, frame looks so solid, laser edged model has nice color combination, pulsar ns200 has the best in class braking performance, nice bike to city ride, low accidental ratio, i think the rear tyre should be 140/80-17,
Best Features: Best sound in 4000-8000 rpm
Pros: Nice 6 speed gear box with high engine rpm
Cons: Rear tyre width is not enough
The Bajaj Pulsar 220 F is a classic from the company which still rules the street. The series has got a good brand value and Bajaj seeks to revive it with 220 F. The sports commute is powered by a 220 cc engine which generates a maximum power of 20.8 bhp @ 8500 rpm and gives out a maximum torque of 19.12 Nm @ 7000 rpm. The bike gets the tail end design from old Pulsar sports commute model and adds semi fairing to the package. It falls in the same segment as Karizma ZMR and Suzuki Gixxer SF. The bike is priced at INR 91,200 which is at par with most street bikes in the segment.
Best Features: Double Disc Brakes, Digital Instrument Console
Pros: Powerful Engine, Styling
Cons: Comfort, Low Mileage
The Bajaj Pulsar NS 200 is one of the best concepts from the company which have been made into a reality. Given that India is a market which does not have many street bikes in the 200 cc segment, this is a great offering for people who like performance. Also the offering from Bajaj is way cheaper than competition from international companies like Benelli and KTM. The model proves ot be a joy ride powered by a 199.5 cc engine which generates a maximum power of 23.17 bhp @ 9500 rpm and gives out a maximum torque of 18.3 Nm @ 8000 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6 speed manual gearbox and the bike offers a 167 mm ground clearance. The bike is the best option in the segment given it's superior power values, good mileage ( 40 kmpl ) and impeccable naked street bike styling. It falls in the same segment as Apache RTR 200 which is an equally good option.
Best Features: Digital Instrument Cluster
Pros: Powerful Engine, Great Design Language, Mileage
Cons: Could Have Been Lighter, Could Have Done With MRF Tyres
Brand new, one of its kind offering can be the first choice of all those who love wining the new roads all the time. Bajaj has completely changed its strategy and the new Pulsar is the result of the same. With such a wide choice of motorcycle engine sizes and types, Bajaj Autos plan for some market dominating moves. The introduction of the new 'Adventure Sport' will enlighten many heart who beat for the routes which are less travelled.
Best Features: Outstanding performance for this price
Pros: Performance . acceleration. Good value for money, mileage 35-40 kmpl
Cons: Eurogrip tyres, poor service knowledge in service centers, with pillion underbelly exhaust chrashes with speed break, chain becomes loose, no abs even as an option
The people who are writing in review that it does not have good pick up so i want to tell you that you are wrong its true that it does not make pick up in morning but after riding regularly upto 15 to 20 min the engine get heated up and change into a beast the i dont like is not digital metre and engine kill switch and hard gear shift only rear brake sound
Best Features: Fuel indicator light and cowl
Pros: Muscular tank great looks superb mileage great tail lamp beafy exhaust
Cons: Engine kill switch is not available and rear brake is making a sound in winters on morning, hard gear shift
Bajaj Dominar 400 is more like a hope for those who wish to enter the big bike segment and its clean INR 1.36 lakh price makes it easy for many, who were considering a 150 cc before, to enter the league. The introduction of LED lights, powerful 373 cc engine and ABS at such point is the best thing Bajaj Auto could have done in last few years. Dominar 400 has the best instrument console that Bajaj can offer currently and it even claims a better efficiency than the same engine which powers the KTM models. The 35 Nm of torque at just 6500 rpm means it it nothing less than a Royal Enfield and can pull anything with the same ease. The higher power means it can claim speed around 150 kmph while company just claims 148 kmph. It weighs 182 kg, which seems to much for a Bajaj bike as Pulsar have never been more than the 165 kg RS200. All in all, it can easily beat anything around its price segment
Best Features: Stuffed seats, LED lights, excessive torque
Pros: Price, engine, LED lights, stance
Cons: Excessive black parts, a bit of rear design, commuter style front view, high weight
Bajaj has always been keen to offering something to the Indian market. From entry level bikes like Platina to it's performance range of Pulsar series, Bajaj never disappoints. Bajaj has pushed their bar further high with Dominar 400 which is way more powerful than any Pulsar bike on the Indian roads (say Pulsar RS 200 , Pulsar 220F). The Bajaj Dominar 400 comes with a 373.3 cc engine which generates a power of 35 PS @ 8000 rpm and a torque of 35 Nm @ 6500 rpm. In general terms, this is a mid-sized cruiser bikes with an appeal of a naked street bike. This is good example of maturity meets style. At just about 1.5 lakhs (on-road) this bike is a nightmare for Royal Enfield 350 which is a tourer bike. Performance wise a KTM 390 Duke of the same segment will cost you an extra 1 lakh with same performance. So I do not see a reason why Dominar 400 is not the best choice at this price range!
Best Features: LED Headlamps, Double Disc Brakes, Dual Channel ABS
Pros: Design Similar to Ducati Diavel, Premium Feel with 400 cc engine, Affordable
Cons: Build Quality Might be an Issue, Low Top Speed
In my experience, and service engineers (k v motors, Kozhikode) direction, within 500Kms of running ,right hand gasket cover ( dh 101154) is worn out. while running how many times i change all these parts. So think twice before purchasing street 150. I complaint to their Email from my mail , No reply from their. So my humble request is to avoid Bajaj.
Best Features: Other than worn out parts
Pros: Looking, design,
Cons: Sub standard washers, cheating of dealers

Cons: Bike is skidding most of times. Carefull while driving. Very worst in this bike.
Recently i have met a small accident when i am riding this bike Bajaj V15 , not hurting my self too much but I was shocked when went to a garage . The mechanic position the leg guard with his bare hand and not only that a tap was found on right side of the tank though i fell with bike on left side .. i came to know next day that the tap on tank was happen by my right knee since my right knee was hurting little next day and there are not scratches on the tap. on handbook it is written that kerb weight is 135.5 kg but this bike more weighed than bajaj pulser 150 , i think company should concentrate on hardness quality of this product . I bound to say that the invincible metal is softer than my bone.
Best Features: Style, mileage
Pros: It looks awesome and different from any kind of commuter bikes .controlling on comfort riding
Cons: Leg guard , petrol tank , visor built quality is poor
